The Mango Tree - South Hill

I got the mixed grill platter, and my husband got the chicken curry the basic ( 4*heat). The heat was a good medium heat I was able to eat it myself and I don't handle spice very well. The mixed plate was phenomenal with different kinds of meats different kinds of seasonings It was so good. My husband said the curry was the best curry he's had in Spokane. I had some meat left over and salad left over that I took home. However as you see service was a little slow they were really busy, and our drinks were empty for a while, we would have got a third drink if the waiter was able to come back around but like I said it was really busy so they didn't have a lot of capacity. We did get one refill on drinks. Just be aware of that when you visit for dinner.

Vegetarian options: There are some vegetarian options however there's not a lot and they're not clearly labeled

Dietary restrictions: I was able to have the mixed grill and I have a lot of allergies, the seasonings and everything they used went very well together and I did not have any reactions but my plate literally was meat and salad with basmati rice

Parking: In a large shopping center with other businesses around that are open around 6:00 to 11:00 p.m.

Kid-friendliness: There were a bunch of kids there with their families.

For my birthday, my friend and I decided to eat here and we were thoroughly impressed. The food was incredible, we both had the Butter Chicken lunch special. The portion was huge and everything tasted delicious. But this review is truly for the star of the afternoon, Alicia, our server. From start to finish, she demonstrated strong serving skills and even more importantly, kindness and human decency. She beamed like a ray of sunshine. She was attentive, kind, went out of her way to make us happy. And we left just that. What a refreshing change of pace in the service industry — they don’t make ‘em like that anymore. We will be back!

If you want to try The Mango Tree go to the Spokane Valley location. Much better food. I had chicken malai and it was very dry. Almost like it was cooked a head of time and heated up. I got 8 pieces and ate one and a half. Drinks also could be improved. There was so much syrup in the bottom of the class. Waitress was nice. We had 4 adults. Won't be back.

Great food!
Had curry bowl-chicken and Mixed grill. Both were beyond delicious. Good clean meal for a reasonable price! We had the ginger beer cocktail, also very tasty.

The food at Mango Tree is great and consistent as always. The coconut curry chicken is the best of the best but what really made our night tonight stand out was our server, Adam. (Hoping it’s him as it’s what our receipt said)
We had a handful of tired kids after a long Sunday and he was so patient and kind with us. He went out of his way to make sure we all were enjoying our food and even brought out ice cream for the kids as it was one of theirs birthdays. I could have cried with his kindness. He made our night and I hope Mango Tree knows what a true asset he is to have on staff. Thank you for being so wonderful to our family.

First time trying Indian food and it was fire. 10/10 service from our waiter. He was chill even with how many people he was serving and gave me the rundown on what the food tasted like and how hot each thing on the menu is. Def going back soon

Loved the food! Came in with my friend and Alecia made our experience just wonderful :) she was very knowledgable about the menu and was very tentative to our needs when it came for water and checking in. We will definitely come back!

The food is amazing and the staff is great. Alecia, our waitress, was so personable and flexible. She made awesome recommendations for meal options and made the whole experience very enjoyable. The environment was very mellow with good music and we really enjoyed amour time there!
