Probably the worst roll I've ever had, and when we ordered sashimi we were served something completely different - huge chunks of cucumber served with a pile of fish eggs on top with a spoon sized mound of rice on the side?

We met friends here for the first visit to the Wave. Food was delicious, service wasn't fast but was friendly and loaded with smiles. We'll definitely be back.

You can get taro leaves in Spokane. If you made laulau Sundays I'd come definitely come for that. I don't always want to make a roast's worth.Spokane being Spokane it feels like a place off the main strip in Waikiki during the rain. Nice. The inside is nice and I was surprised to hear reggae music inside. My wife got the loco moco and I got the kalua pork. We split some gyoza and ahi poke. The loco moco was very, very good. The patty was about an inch thick and the demi glace was a nice variation in the standard brown gravy. My kalua pork and cabbage was a lot like home. This Aunty likes putting in a LOT of cabbage. It's not authentic, but that has more to do with the lack of an imu (underground oven, usually fed kiawe wood) than anything. We got the regular poke. It was served on chilled sushi rice. My only quibble is that the ahi chunks were about a third to half the size I'm used to. Some places here think you should put the fish through a grater to make your think you're getting a lot. I feel satisfied with the amount of poke for the money. Next time I'll order it over hot rice, supermarket style.Final thing. They don't have a kama'aina discount. Fair enough. My Hawaii ID is expired XDParking: There's a paid parking structure across the street.

1 st time here, ordered loco moco, over cooked burnt, gravy had no taste and tasted burnt, egg was over cooked. I informed the waitress and they immediately fixed it. 2 bd time, patty was cooked to how I wanted but still no flavor. Mac salad had no flavor. I heard the Loco Moco was supposed to be good but I was disappointed!!

Nice sushi at great prices, probably the best in town. The sushi tasted fresh and large portions. Their happy hour takes $4 off rolls of sushi. Their cocktails are good and are a great prices for what you get as well.

Aesthetically pleasing interior and no wait time to get seated. Food was good not great, more like gentrified a sushi place lol. Our service was pretty terrible, it was so slow despite there being only three other tables occupied and 10+ staff members. Staff appeared to be college age and had more interest in chatting with each other than being a server. Our Mochi was completely melted on the inside and gross.

If you want an authentic Japanese restaurant, do not go here. My dad and I wanted sushi for dinner but our main spot was closed so this was our second choice. At first we couldn't find the restaurant because it didn't look Japanese. It is too modernly decorated. The logo threw us off. It was very difficult to find.We ordered three sushi rolls. We ordered the rainbow roll, and I was expecting the rolls to be fresher. Their spicy mayo sauce is WAY to spicy I couldn't even eat it. The fried roll was ok, just not my favorite. I wish the caterpillar sushi roll was fresher but it was lukewarm and not very enjoyable.I wanted something hot to drink but the only thing they serve was hot water or green tea. I was kinda disappointed, but their green tea was fine. All in all, our waitress was probably the best experience. She was nice and checked in periodically. If you are going for sushi, there are better and more authentic places to go. I won't be coming back. There was nothing there that WOWed me.
