Thomas Hammer Coffee Roasters (L3 Cafeteria)

I got a cookie which was ok and a mocha. Mocha was the worst ever. My bigger complaint is that they set the drinks off to the side and didn’t call it out . a lady grabbed mine and asked if it was hers and that’s when I realized it was mine. I find it gross to allow drinks to sit like that even more so in a hospital with sick people. The workers were not polite or social so can’t even give them credit for that. They looked tired and were very slow.

I love this coffee. I drank a ton of the signature blend at Ruby River Hotel while in Spokane for a work trip, and it was one of my favorite flavors of the trip! The hotel brewed it fresh all day long. I ordered a bunch from the website to be able to brew it at home. Next time I'm in the area, I'm definitely going to make time to stop by a cafe and stock up. Yum! ☕

Management is very rude to customers and employees. Mia the manager is just rude to everyone for no reason and seen her been rude to customers and employees. The environment seems toxic and I will not return.

Sadly, the espresso drinks are often cold, poorly created foam, and overly sweet chocolate syrup. I remember this cafe used to be great, but now, the coffee shots taste weak and watered-down. Cappuccino is watered-down espresso with hot milk. Too expensive for such bad products. Perhaps you could train real barristas. It is a job which requires actual techniques and knowledge. If I received a delicious coffee drink properly crafted, perhaps I would feel better about the 15% tip.

I’m a hospital employee and just paid $8.39 for a quad shot mocha… regular milk, no add ins or extras. The prices are crazy high, and although the coffee is good when made right, it’s very inconsistent. Most of the girls are friendly and sweet, but there are a couple that seem annoyed all the time and unhappy to be there. I would not be a frequent patron if it were not for the convenience of it.

I work at SHMC and get a coffee everyday. I always ask for extra caramel but never get it. So I will stop somewhere else on my way to work.

Review solely for the drink. Ordered 16 oz Tommy Thai Tea 12/26. It was like drinking syrup. I poured 4 oz of it, slightly already diluted, into a separate cup, diluted it with 4 oz hot water, and it was still sweet.

I work at Sacred Heart Hospital and I get coffee from Thomas ham right now for the last maybe 10 years I usually go to the one on the main floor as I followed other coworkers from L3 the main floor is customer service is always excellent I rarely work weekends here at the hospital I just went downstairs to get a coffee there was not even a long line I told her what I wanted a white chocolate mocha breve three shots she said we have to start charging extra for breve right now I said when did we start doing that you guys just stopped she emphasize that she’s the manager now on the main floor and that she will make sure that everybody knows and gets charged I told her that the line on the main floor had already decreased since Ashley the previous manager had left and that maybe she should be more kinder and not so rude as to most the women that get their coffee on that floor working surgery and they are tough cookies she explain to me how she could handle it she’s had many years in customer service all I was trying to do was give a heads up it was the first time ever and counting her and she was very hostile aggressive and rude I am now concerned for the employees that will be working on the main floor for Thomas Hammer they are very kind and sweet I fear that you will lose many employees not only customers and it’s none of our business that minimum wage is going up and that you have to up your prices. After this encounter meant I’m very irritated and agitated for the day you’re supposed to fill fabulous after getting your coffee for the day.

Great customer service! Love their huckleberry, strawberry lemon scones and savory items like everything bagels! Their espresso is tasty and strong! A solo shot is more than enough for me! :)
