Absolutely brilliant. Thomas Hammer has that small town vibe with amazing staff that are patient with customers. Especially those of us new to trying different coffee drinks. They also have shirts and hoodies for sell, as well as neat cups. Oh, and the coffee is amazing. Doesn't have that burnt dirt taste like Starbucks.

I am often disappointed in their drinks at any location. I don't know why I keep going. Don't go to Starbucks though!! Go to Jacobs java, indaba, or a different local coffee shop. They're all about the same price.

I went in on 3/9/25 at 1pm and the barista working was quite rude. I didn’t have my glasses and took a minute to look at the menu and had some questions and she huffed and puffed the whole time. I ordered a blended drink I don’t think she really wanted to make 😬 so that was my bad! When I paid she threw my change back at me. Some customers came in behind me and were asking about sandwiches which they were out of and she was extremely rude to them as well. While making my drink she huffed and puffed and sighed the whole time.

Very disappointing experience. It is my first time stopping at this cafe. I ordered a frappe with espresso, it with high ice ratio to cream and coffee. (Tasted awful with no sugar since I didn’t ask sugar free). On top of that the the scones were dry and seems to be made a week ago. Also the barista was not enthusiastic or interested in giving good customer service. Since it was my first time at the cafe, I asked about something about the menu she was iffy about answering my question.Would come back? Probably no. Starbucks is better at the same or even lower price.

I love this coffee. I drank a ton of the signature blend at Ruby River Hotel while in Spokane for a work trip, and it was one of my favorite flavors of the trip! The hotel brewed it fresh all day long. I ordered a bunch from the website to be able to brew it at home. Next time I'm in the area, I'm definitely going to make time to stop by a cafe and stock up. Yum! ☕

Great coffee shop, but somewhat limited options, like no almond milk.

I’m a hospital employee and just paid $8.39 for a quad shot mocha… regular milk, no add ins or extras. The prices are crazy high, and although the coffee is good when made right, it’s very inconsistent. Most of the girls are friendly and sweet, but there are a couple that seem annoyed all the time and unhappy to be there. I would not be a frequent patron if it were not for the convenience of it.

Love Thomas Hammer coffee!! The Valley Mall location is my favorite. Smooth, tasty and a perfect cup of coffee every time. The Velvet Hammer is my favorite, hot or iced. The baristas are awesome! When will there be one in Liberty Lake??? There are open spots near Safeway and Yoke's...

Sat and drank an iced mocha while I ate one of their sugar cookies. Was nice.
