We used to really like this place. Tonight, the staff kicked out a blue collar worker because he smelled a bit like gasoline. A husband and wife brought a toddler to the bar and decided to complain to management to kick him out. I (36F) stood up for him, and the family proceeded to harass me, with the husband even threatening to fight me. (I was less than half his size) Union Tavern's management disgustingly supported that family the entire way. We will not be going back.

Excellent food, location, and atmosphere. The only thing I wish they would improve on is service. There are only 2 servers and every time I go I sit at a table for 10-15mins before one of them comes with water and menus. And it's not because of how busy they are because I've been there when they only have 3-4 tables seated and it's the same. But if you're willing to wait the food and drinks are delicious and the old bar is awesome.
