First time at Baba with a friend for friday lunch, wow what a great meal. Loved the ambience and the food was so flavorful and delicious. Loved the Schug lamb hash and the smoked salmon eggs benedict. Cannot wait to go back and try more dishes!

this is the best food I've had in spokane. flavor, presentation all on point. I had a simple fresh but beautifully flavored salad. all the food has complex deep flavor profiles. 10/10

We arrived at baba later on a Saturday evening after arriving in Spokane for a relocation planning trip. This will probably be the first place we come to when we return! I cannot stop thinking about the Mezze Platter… just, wow. Flavor bombs galore! The flavors are bright and fresh, the pita warm and fluffy.
We tried the deviled eggs based off reviews mentioning them - probably won’t order those again as they were incredibly rich and had a lot of different flavors going on. Not terrible, just overwhelming in my opinion.
The service was pleasant and well timed and the atmosphere welcoming. A breath of fresh air compared to the entitlement we often experience in Bend, OR. Looking forward to returning to baba! Thanks y’all!

This was a DoorDash order... Flavors are delightful! I loved the African Peanut Stew the best... mildly spicy, rich flavor, super filling. The Wild Mushroom Hummus was an interesting pairing. The 'shrooms are seasoned just right with garlic and cooked to perfection. The hummus was super smooth, but very mildly flavored. This worked well with the umami flavors from the mushrooms, but standing alone, the hummus was a bit too bland for my liking. The Potato Latkes are good! The sauces and the pickled onion they were paired with were delicious.
Portions are less than generous for the price.

I dined here with my partner on Sunday night. The woman waiting on us was kind and attentive despite juggling many tables.
The food was out of this world. I cannot wait to come back. We had the Mezze plate, eggplant fries, and falafel. All were incredible. The eggplant fries were more like big wedges. They were also one of the best things I’ve eaten in a long time. Dining here is an excellent experience I’d recommend to anyone.

Wow just wow! Everything about this place was perfect! A nice slow 2 hr meal from the warmed olives marinated with lots of fun flavors..to the African stew..to the spicy roasted chicken and pickled lemon..to the Turkish Coffee Mousse dessert. We are gf with an autoimmune disease. What a find! Loren and the bartender were the best! Im an ex restaurant manager.. so eating out can be tricky. This far surpassed any expectations!
