Wild Sage Bistro Reviews
My husband and I don't get to get out together, just the two of us, very often. We stopped in The Wild Sage on a FRIDAY night (1/9), and Tom, Laura, and Alyssa couldn't have been more pleasant and accommodating.
Thank you for making our night that much more warm and wonderful with the delicious food, drink, chats, and laughter: we can't wait to come back and revisit again. I encourage anyone and everyone to partake in this fine experience!
Blessings!
Incredible dining experience. Had the best cocktails we’ve ever had, food was great and the service was up there too! Already planning on when we should go back
Went to Wild Sage two weeks ago for our wedding anniversary. We’ve loved it in the past but it’s been a few years since we’ve eaten there. Atmosphere and ambience was 5/5 but we were very disappointed with the food as it didn’t even taste as good as what I could make at home myself. The Wild Sage Bistro offers excellent and timely service, with a delicious menu featuring taquitos, the scrumptious "duck duck goose," and a great crème brûlée to end the meal. Customers love that the restaurant mostly serves Washington wines, showcasing the local wine scene. The varied menu and drink selection cater to all tastes, making it a recommended dining destination.
Diners have praised the restaurant's wonderful ambiance, with one customer describing it as their "favorite spot to dine when I am in Spokane." The service has been lauded as "wonderfully upbeat and personable," with servers like HeathrAnn timing interactions perfectly. The food has also received high acclaim, with customers raving about the "amazing" salads, main courses, and the "delicious" morel pasta. The sword fish special and the pork tenderloin with a sliced plum sauce have been highlighted as standout dishes.
While the chickpea cakes were not as well-received, the taziki spread was praised for saving the dish. The menu also includes favorites like taquitos, the "duck duck goose," and desserts such as crème brûlée. Customers appreciate the knowledgeable staff and the restaurant’s ability to accommodate dietary needs, especially for those with celiac disease. However, parking can be a challenge; one customer advised paying the $7 fee immediately to avoid a costly parking ticket.
Recent visitors have praised the food quality and friendly atmosphere, noting that Alex at the bar provided excellent service. One guest was especially impressed with their flank steak, calling it outstanding. They also tried the creole bucatini but found it too heavy with cream, which overwhelmed the flavors, and suggested it needs rethinking or removal from the menu. Despite this, many plan to return and recommend the restaurant for its overall quality and atmosphere.
The Wild Sage Bistro continues to impress with its diverse menu, attentive service, and local wine selection, cementing its reputation as a top dining spot in Spokane.
