Decent food, nothing really wrong with it, just basic. The famous Viking Burger is just a simple double cheeseburger with fairly skinny patties. The tator tots were delicious, perfectly crunchy on the outside with a little soft center. The Cole slaw was good, a little different and a little spendy, but very tasty. Dad had a grilled chicken burger that he said was good, but nothing fancy. Dad got some strawberry Rhubarb pie that I’m pretty sure was in a plastic container from a grocery store. The biggest issue was probably the prices. Far too expensive for the amount and delivery of the food. I do have to say that the service was wondeful. Our waitress was very pleasant and the food was delivered timely.

Excellent burgers in a comfortable setting. Prompt, friendly service. Small indoor and outdoor seating area besides the drive in. They also serve shakes, etc. I didn’t really look at the rest of their menu.

Wow, one monster patty. I finished everything and I'm now ready to slip into a food coma. Good thing it's not my turn to drive. I really hate soggy or limp fries and was happy to have crisp yet tender ones, which I ate first, because, who likes cold fries! I highly recommend Viking Drive-In if you find yourself in the area. Can't wait to try the shakes next time.

The young girl that greeted us and served us was so happy to have us there. She had a smile on her face and was ready to serve. You could tell she appreciated her job and did not take it for granted. We sat outside on the picnic tables for lunch. The burgers were really good especially the mushroom burger and the special of the day- the bacon cheese burger. We were pleasantly surprised since the Viking Cafe is the only restaurant in the town of Sprague. We had a nice family experience for a lunch stop on our road trip home. ❤️

Cute off the beaten path diner. Stopped in for breakfast and were the only customers. The waitress was friendly and cheerful, even gave us a calendar on our way out as we left with full stomachs. Retro radio gave a nice feeling of stepping back in time. Places like this are rare!!

Been here twice now once for lunch and once for breakfast, great both times! Mushroom Swiss burger and Bacon double burger both with tots super yummy, breakfast was biscuits and Gravy with hash browns and pancakes and eggs, both delicious as was the coffee and OJ. Nothing processed in our meals. Very good service and atmosphere!
