The Stehekin Pastry Company is a friendly bakery located in a charming community, known for its annual donut day. The menu offers a variety of options, including light and fluffy bismarks, such as the toasted coconut bismark, and tasty pizza that makes for a convenient snack. The bakery also provides great vegetarian options, such as the chai spiced coffee cake, and a selection of soups, pastries, and sandwiches. While the pizza may not suit all tastes, the pastries, especially the cinnamon bun and strawberry rhubarb pie, are highly recommended. The coffee is the best in Stehekin, offering drip and espresso. Folks are super friendly, and the handmade/baked goods are great. The quiche was better than the breakfast biscuit, and the veggie wraps with peanut sauce were loved. They also have gluten-free pastries and bread for sandwiches. It is a must-visit place while in town.
