Can't believe we have lived here almost 2 years and not visited this jem! First date night in 3 years was perfect. I loved the Amber ale and the wood fired pizza was outstanding. Thanks guys
Great service and awesome beers. Nice open space. Kid friendly but no dogs.
The owner is wonderful. This is the spot to be after your long day of hiking.
We've now been here twice, both times were excellent. You should absolutely get garlic fries when you go! Burgers were great, and at a good price. We had the Thai chili wings, too, which were very good.Beers were pretty good, not the best, but also not the worst by any means. Good indoor seating, limited outdoor. As a "driving through to my hike" stop, it's definitely one of our go to places in highway 2
The Big Muddy nutella mocha was really good. There was a problem with one of our drinks but they willingly replaced it. Very happy with the service!
Stopped in for a beer after my hike with a friend. Everyone was very friendly. They were closing soon so we only had time to have a pint but, the beer was fabulous and just what we wanted after our 7mile hike? i will definitely be back to try the food!
Went in Thursday for a pint with a friend. I forgot to bring my mask and that's on me. But when I came back with a mask they were extremely rude. The server was very miserly with tasters and threatened to cut me off when I couldn't find a beer I liked. The server shooed me away from the bar but provided no table service. I can't drink tasters thru a mask. I can't drink beer thru a mask either. I was told to mask up to approach the bar and order anything. They demand a tip while providing no service and demanding you bus your own table. Very expensive as well.I won't be back.
A rude staff in an empty bar. Not recommended. They apply an automatic gratuity because they don’t expect anyone to willingly give them a tip. Even their low IBU beers tend towards unnecessary and uncharacteristic bitterness.Their Jalapeño poppers are filled with cheddar based Mac-N-Cheese sauce instead of typical cream cheese but they charge extra for the standard chili sauce used for dipping poppers (some other sauces provided free). When sampling beers the server took offense to the samples being placed on her “work area” AKA the bar, within inches of where she had originally set them. After asking them to tally up they only charged for some of the order then accused us of trying to dine and dash while we ambled to the door moments after they said they had charged our credit card. After paying for the second time we requested a receipt and they begrudging went to the back room to print one off that only had one of our two orders and included other patrons receipts with their full name and part of their credit card number.Prices are higher and quality lower than other bars and restaurants in town.I have enjoyed their elk chili before but service and price have always been a disappointment.
Called to order for drive thru, spoke with the owner, Brandy. Very nice and helpful, it was our first time and was not sure about the process. The wings were great, I had the dry wings which I loved, sauce on the side. Girlfriend had the salt and pepper vinegar wings, which she loved. The steak fries were good. Fried pickles were yummy and we ordered a 10inch cheese pizza that rocked. We ate that later. Overall a great experience, we will be back. Can't wait to try the burgers. Thanks Brandy and the Timber Monster staff.
fantastic place loved the small town and home feeling. Got to meet the owner Mike. Absolutely coming back soon.

Good food at reasonable price. Nice staff
It was good. Try the Elk burger and the root beer. A large selection of beer and other alcoholic beverages are around as well as a selection of Timber branded tee shirts.
Great beer, great fish and chips. Nice cozy fire.
Great beer and cider. Ordered the elk burger and oh my, what a tasty burger. I'd have assumed it was high quality beef. Good buffalo wings too. Mike, the owner/operator is very friendly and attentive to patrons. Also had great advice for other nearby hikes and parks that were very helpful. Everyone there that came and went seemed to have just as pleasant and fulfilling a time as my wife and I did.
Elk burgers are good. Wait staff were very nice, but the manager was bossy and needlessly rude. We know covid requires businesses to adhere to strict rules and procedures, and we're happy to comply. Just let us know what you need us to do. No need to get rude because we can't read your mind.
