Ive gone to this bobs since I was a kid, yesterday my husband & I went. The size of my biscuits & gravy (full, not 1/2) was literally the size of a children's meal + it needed alot of salt & pepper, very bland, as you can see in the picture my fork is almost bigger then the biscuits. I wanted eggs benedict but apparently the new owners took it off the menu, I did ask if they were able to make it & she said no. My drink was very good & the service was soso, she only brought breakfast menus even though we said some of us are wanting lunch. It was 11am so not sure if they have a start time for that. Mostly disappointed in the portion of my meal yet the price was ridiculous for what we received. $68 for 2 breakfasts! We might be back but I wont order biscuits & gravy again.

I had a bit on sourdough. I may just be oldfashioned . The service was great , I like the quiet!!! I was very impressed with the ambiance, however, my sandwich was pricier than the beer which was strange . That BLT was one of the best I have had .

I took my 2 teens here for breakfast! The portions were perfect. Waffles French toast. Even the hashbrown was fantastic!!! I would 100% recommend

5 stars aren’t enough! The food at Bob’s Burger & Brew in Sumas is out of this world—absolutely delicious from start to finish. The service? Better than any Michelin-star restaurant I’ve been to. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. And the atmosphere is amazing—casual, fun, and perfect for any occasion. This place is a gem! My new favorite place!

Best Fish dinner! Crispy on the outside and flaky / firm on the inside! The burgers are amazing, and they brought back the stuffed baked potatoes!

I recently visited Bob's Burger in Sumas and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. Upon arrival, we had to seat ourselves at a vacant table that hadn’t been cleaned properly from previous customers, which was off-putting.
As loyal patrons of Bob's Burger in Blaine, we’ve always enjoyed their excellent service and homemade-style burgers. However, the quality at this location was noticeably lacking. The burger patties were thin and seemed almost frozen, quite different from the thicker, more homemade patties we’re used to. I ordered my burger rare, but it came out medium well. After sending it back, it was returned the same way again, which was frustrating.
Our server initially saw us sitting down but continued chatting with friends instead of attending to us. After about 10 minutes, she finally came over to our dirty table, which we had requested to be wiped down, and then took our order. I specifically emphasized that I wanted my burger rare, but it seems the message didn’t get through.
Overall, the service was not great, and the quality definitely differs from the Blaine location. I hope they can improve in these areas, as we had high expectations based on our previous experiences.
Bob's is one of the only places in Sumas that hasn't changed over the years due to economic or natural events affecting this tiny, border town. The lodge is beautiful, the service is great and the food is too. Definitely worth stopping by if you're up near the Canadian border.
