Don't sleep on this place. I've eaten tons of sushi around the globe, and this is one of the best I've ever had. Excellent!
Wonderful staff. Speedy service. Food was outstanding. My wife had shrimp tempura and loved it. I had the Tuna Stack which I highly recommend for any sushi or poke fan. Perfect seasoning with half hot half not. You gotta try it! Tip: get a side of rice to soak up all the great sauce, I stole some of my wife's rice.
Old school service and attention to detail. Excellent.

We love the food at Nori Sushi & Teriyaki! There are a variety of food options and prices are reasonable. The sushi is amazing! All the menu items are yummy, too.
So much fun to have a sushi bar and restaurant in rural Whatcom CO. The sushi rolls were excellent and large portions. The Pho Thai was also excellent and a very large portion. We had hot saki and there was a selection of Asian beers. The owner, Jung served and entertained us. The menu also includes, teriyaki, yakisoba, pho, and other Asian dishes. The owner said he would prepare nori and sashimi style options that aren’t on the regular menu. Thank you Jung!

My wife and I drove up from Anacortes to explore the area around Sumas and, on the basis of Google reviews, chose to have lunch at Nori Sushi & Teriyaki. She ordered yakisoba with chicken, and I ordered a couple of appetizers--egg rolls and gyoza. The food was well prepared, excellently seasoned, and, in a word, delicious. And as others have reported, the portions are quite generous! We both came away with our hunger amply satisfied and my wife with enough left over yakisoba for another meal.
The best part of our experience, however, was the unexpected pleasure of meeting and chatting with the owners, two of the nicest people one could ever hope to encounter. Yong deals with the customers and is quite personable and easy to talk to. His wife Li (I'm not sure of this spelling) does the cooking. We may well have been the last lunch customers for the day since it was nearly 2 pm when we arrived, so after preparing our meals, Li was able to come out of the kitchen to welcome us. Yong's English is very good indeed, but Li needs help from time to time from him. But that doesn't matter. She is such a genuinely sweet person; good will and the desire to please emanate from her and make her slight language barrier insignificant. Li and my wife hugged as we parted, and we drove away from one of the very best restaurant experiences that we've ever had. We look forward to returning!
Great food, with huge portions! I got the pork teriyaki bento box, and there’s so much food, it comes in three boxes! But the quantity doesn’t outweigh the quality. Everything was delicious. The pork was incredibly tender and full of flavor, with a great balance of sweet and savory. The California roll was a full sized roll and was very fresh tasting.
Stopped by for the first time and was blown away by the food, portion, and prices. The couple running the place were very sweet. Coming back and suggesting to friends from now on!
We were in town for the Taylor Swift concert and stopped to get dinner here. The food was so delicious. Better than anything we’ve had in Utah. Fresh fish, huge portions. We ordered way too much but have a lot of leftovers. The couple who own the restaurant are an absolute DELIGHT and visited with us for some time. They take pride in their food and it shows.
I was told about this from a friend from work and have eaten here 5 times now. The sushi is the best sushi ive ever had. Ive tried some of the highest rated places between the border and Seattle. None of them top this sushi, especially his salmon roll. It is to die for. By far my favorite, and now only place ill be getting sushi from.
