Pizza was awful. It's been bad the the 3 times we have been there. Limp, too much sauce and hardly any meat on it. Gross, won't be back!

It has been there for many years and offers a menu with lots of great pasta and pizza choices. They employ a lot of younger, local people who are always friendly and super attentive to their guests.

Ordered at 7am in the morning for a 5:15pm pickup. Got there at 5:10, knowing i was early, and let them know i was there. At 5:25 I checked back, and found they had not even started my meal. Frustrating, after giving them 10 hours advance notice so they would be able to have it ready to go.

We found Aversano's during COVID times and haven't gone anywhere else locally for Italian fare since. We love them - the food is always good and there is always lots of it. We love picking up and eating in the comfort of our home however, we enjoy going in as the the feel of the restaurant is like being at home!

Went for dinner here with family but really wasn't impressed with the food, after my food arrived the flavor was just ok and only luke warm so I sent it back to be heated up. Had the ravioli and spaghetti just not a lot of flavor. I'm not that picky but wouldn't buy that meal again. Now I've had their pizza and that's really good. Still give them a try it might be better for you.

I ordered the Spinach Manicotti and Traditional Lasagna for delivery. Both orders were tasteless, child’s portions, shameful offerings of Italian meals. On top of all this, both containers smelt of cigarette smoke. I cannot confirm if this odor was due to the delivery driver or the restaurant staff. Either way, the dishes were abysmal! My partner became ill and was up half the night due to this rancid food! NEVER AGAIN!

Updated review: calzone contents are under cooked while the outside is scorched. Pizzas are burnt.

Previous review: Really enjoy this place and craving our next visit! This place is popular so may fill up and require a wait to be seated.

I'll need to ask the next time I'm in if we can create my own calzone. Meatballs and pepperoni would be awesome!

Pros:
- Meatballs are awesome! (Handmade with no onions!)
- Salad bar is well maintained and a welcome part of my dining experience.
- Food is great, service staff attentive and efficient.

Cons:
- Parking is challenging due to popularity.
- Staff get busy due to volume.

Went for lunch with a few friends. I ordered pizza and minestrone soup. The soup was good and was very warm when I got it. My pizza was burned black on the bottom of the crust

Pizza was terrible we ordered 4 different types none good, lasagna was ok atmosphere is bad due to extremely run down restaurant in need of full remodel. I do not recommend using restrooms unless absolutely necessary

3rd time call in order in past 2 yrs. the lobster ravioli, ravioli, hard, cut w knife, the sauce, thick paste, yuck Ive gone here for over 40 yrs, hasnt been the same the past 5 yrs. Dont know if sold out. not worth prices to me anymore.
