First time dining in, usually only come here for dessert. So far what I have had has been decent, nothing stands out in particular except for the excellent service.

The wait staff is very attentive, takes care of any mishaps with food or drink orders.

There wasn’t a lot of foot traffic
(Friday evening) so I’m assuming maybe the majority of the people that come in are local. The restaurant is also next to what looks like a newly renovated or built hotel and a community on the other side.

There are lovely roses, surrounding the building, and on the inside, there are lots of spiritual aesthetic that provides a warm welcoming.

The table we were sat at felt kind of sticky, and the cushion of the seat were worn.

It’s a quaint, hidden away restaurant that’s family owned and I think that is a beautiful legacy.

It’s a conflicting review for sure…. We love N***y, her parents, and their family owned restaurant. We’ve eaten here for over 12 yrs. But there is now a very mouthy hostess/waitress… And whenever the main family is not around, she has a terrible attitude. And I have never thought of our family finishing our last days and not returning. But that is what has come to. Especially after this evening.

I ordered from El Charro for the first time today through DoorDash and what I received was the most disappointing food I’ve had, EVER. The “carne asada fries” were stale, and the carne was overcooked and burnt you couldn’t even chew it. The “chile relleno” was little to nothing and the egg mixture was overcooked it was HARD. Not to mention the prices are not worth for the portions you receive. I will never order from here again.

Not the cleanest, waited about 10 minutes to be seated as lady was in the back.. then over charged on bill, had to bring it to her attention.. so mediocre at best.

I ordered for pickup. Food wasn't great, queso was sweet/sugary and way to thick, even after heating up at home it was like coagulated, I didn't eat much of it. The rest of the order was OK. Everything tasted sweet, which was not expected and didn't enhance the taste. For the price I was pretty disappointed. I wanted to try a local restaurant but wish I drove out for pickup a bit further to a better restaurant for the same price. Staff seemed nice.

Restaurant is okay. They don't really come wait on the tables though you have to order at the cashier. We had to ask for chips and salsa. And the prices on the menus were not correct. Food is decent.
