Update: Heard it is closed. Sad day. ..Anyone know what’s going on with Half Lion ?? I have been by a couple times in the last few days and it’s been closed. I’ve called their phone number a couple times and every time all I get is just a voicemail. I hope it’s not gone. We love going there for drinks and the food is always good.
Nice interior and friendly place but the beer and seltzers are not good.
Love hanging here. Kid friendly and chill atmosphere
Great atmosphere, excellent beer!
Originally went to the Sumner location with my father for lunch, the refrigerator was down so they told us to try to Kent location. Arrived at the Kent location to be greeted and served by someone who was very unwelcoming. Then almost every item on the menu, including drinks, they didn't have ingredients to make. Service was terrible, it wasn't busy and I had to go to the bar to ask for service. I had left my car at the Sumner location to ride with my father. An hour or so later, I returned to have my car locked in the gate even though the closing time was 7 pm, they made me late to work. The only redeeming quality was their tar tar sauce. -10/10 wouldn't recommend.
Beer choices were okay. Staff were very friendly.Food truck fish and tots were excellent. The place needs some pinball machines and maybe a shuffle board, plenty of room for both!
Half lion brewing is a seriously impressive brewery. They have a large taproom with a great selection of beers. They have a food truck on site offering a variety of food that is mighty tasty. Kids and doggos are welcome
Stopped in after a round of golf having seen the taphouse from the freeway. Great experience all around, from the number of TV's to the design of the taphouse and the food truck, I will definitely be back!
Great beers. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Warm and welcoming environment. Add it to your rotation.
Visited this bar yesterday with a couple friends. Atmosphere was great until we encountered the bar manager Natalie. Being a manager of an establishment myself.. it was awful to see how unprofessional she was to her guests. We sat down and got ID’D. Then 1 minute later another girl walks over and ID’s us again. We say “oh the other lady just checked them” but we pulled them out anyways. Was also odd that there was three of us.. 2 females and a male (all the same age) and only us females were ID’D.We order our drinks and go back to conversation with eachother. Natalie abruptly walks up to us gets right in our faces and starts telling us they have the right to ID us as many times as they want! Starts going into policy and procedures with us. Talking to us like we are children. Then processes to say “so do we have a problem!?!” We were so shocked by this encounter we didn’t even know how to respond. This lady is going to ruin this place. Natalie needs a lesson on customer service. Will never be back after that disrespect!

Good place. Great service. Well beer.
I was there with my service dog. The server had her 2 kids there while she was working. A teenager and a screaming 2 yr old. I was outside with my dog but the screaming 2 yr old was making my dog uneasy so I went the brewery. She told me dogs aren't allowed inside I said I was trying to get away from the screaming kid. She said kids scream, How rude she was ,I'll never go back.
Such a great place to relax with great views, delicious food, brew with friendly service. All good vibes. Friday night music is fun and enjoyable. Enjoy!
It was great. Wife and I got burgers and rootbeer on tap! They also have boardgames that you can play while you wait for your food. Or if you wanna stay a while they have a wonderful selection of beer. Cheers?
Great beer and friendly staff. Great deals on specials sometimes too. A nice place to check out.
