Large group of us for an early morning breakfast. We had checked ahead and they do request reservations for groups larger than 6. No problem setting that up.
The owner herself waited on us and was patient and friendly.
Food came out in reasonable time and everyone was happy with the food. One of our group remarked about how much they loved the hashbrowns. My daughter loved the breakfast tacos.
The owner said they normally request one bill for large groups, but she had no problems splitting up our table and handled it all well.

Rude, non welcoming. Maybe because we weren't in our Sundays best but my son ran in to see the wait for a party of 6 and was told none. He said perfect, he'd be right back. It took me 4 mins to find parking and when my party and I showed up they said we'd have to wait 15 to 30 mins because other people came in. Why not hold our spot for 4 mins? We were there first? The "hostess" could care less, so we just left. This is my first, and last experience with Hometown. Sad.

For a First time customer I'm pretty upset with the service, I walked in asked if they had a wait time for my group and they said no, so I had told the host I'll be right back to go get my group, not even 3 minutes later I comeback with said group to find a 30 minute wait and a bigger group at my table.

Didn't even get a chance to try the food. I ordered ahead to go. Googled their website to look at the menu, called and ordered. When I got there they said the bill was $55, not $31 like the menu online showed. I bring this up, and show them the pictures of the menu and the prices. She goes to tell the manager/owner, and they just tell me that isn't there menu. I say, I'm pretty sure this is considering the menu link was on the name of the restaurant online. Plus when I ordered the "Hobo Hash" she knew what I was talking about. Don't think it would be somewhere else's menu with that same name for that meal. She then tells me it must be their old menu. I said "Oh ok, well since it's not updated an I've been pretty thrown off by the $24 price difference, I would still like to purchase the food I ordered for the price I thought it was, and what it said online. Especially because I drove 20 minutes to try this place." She then says very condescendingly, "Oh you mean the menu from 2017"... Shocked at the rudness, I said, you should probably change the menu prices online if they're from 2017. She says "Well, times are hard right now" lol. I say, times are to hard to take 2 minutes and change the pictures of the menu online? She then says, we usually have people place their order online, not by calling. I say, I'm pretty sure 90% of people that have never been here would Google to find it, and not necessarily just place the order online. And, without one apology and 0 empathy for a customer, she just says again, those aren't our prices. I tell my wife and I are both business owners and deal in customer service every day, and this is absolutely not how we would handle this. We would definitely honor the price, especially when the customer is showing proof. And the items we deal in are worth a heck of a lot more then a breakfast. I tell them, I'm sorry, I'm not paying $24 more then I was expecting to. And set the food down on the counter. They just let me walk out the door. On my way out I let them know how poor of customer service that was. I would not have minded paying that price at all if I knew that was the price. Not to mention I tip 20% even when picking up to go. Because I am a big believer in great customer service and satisfaction. Thought we'd try this place over Dixies where we've been going for years. Even though Dixies has great customer service, and even better food. But looks like it was a sign to just go where we know is good. We will definitely not be ever coming here to eat. Especially for the bimonthly brunch that my wife takes her 38 employees to. I suggest just going to Dixies, or anywhere else. I am a very kind and calm person, even when dealing with rudeness. But this was just crazy to me.

We’ve been many times and always had a fine experience until yesterday. My husband’s birthday and I told them we were celebrating. His egg scramble had chicken bones in it, making it unappetizing and he did not eat any after finding. When I told the manager she did not offer a new meal, or to take it off of our bill. She said it looked like bone but they don’t have anything with bones in the kitchen. Weird. The poor service on his birthday makes it so we unfortunately won’t be back. Hopefully they clean the kitchen and find where the bones came from 🤢

This place was amazing. The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars was because my south of the border hash was underseasoned. Otherwise, I did not leave hungry, and personally, for me, that's the whole goal, and this place delivered. I would eat here again!

I called several times and was never able to speak with anyone. I JUST WANT CINNAMON ROLLS.
Good size portion, decent breakfast, all day. Also cozy upstairs dining for small groups or couples.
It's always a pleasure visiting the Charm. The server is great, the food is great and the deserts April makes are exquisite, perfect to take to gatherings ; ) Definitely be returning.

I was distastfuley approached when coming out of the bathroom by the Owner April asking me about why no tip was left. That blew my mind. I spent $80 on a meal for my children and I and that was the appreciation I got. I was not even done with my visit, my child just needed the restroom and I was headed back to my table. As for service, sadly the waiter was so busy upstairs she was not able to replenish beverages at all so the water we got before ordering didnt last through the meal and we ended up running to the corner store for something to drink. As for food, the steak was also over cooked after I asked for medium. This used to be a great place but after the owner waiting outside of the bathroom for me, our 10 years of visits has come to an end. That was extremely distasteful, I leave a tip anytime I go out. I gave April my tip for the server. Other reviews are right in saying its overpriced for the food.
