I was wanting to try this as I've been to D.O A. in Tacoma a few times already. While the menu has quite a few good selections I guess ours were just ok. Today's my birthday and I decided to try Mini Oscar's Annex, the Moco Loco was decent. Really couldn't taste the "cheesy" grits. My friend just had the 2 egg breakfast. My husband and I tried this place for the first time on Mother’s Day because we had heard such great things. We both have always had a good experience and great food at the original Dirty Oscar’s annex in Tacoma. They seemed a little understaffed but the staff was still very nice. The atmosphere was like a new age diner and appeared clean. We ordered 3 drinks, the Tatchos, the pulled pork (verde) Benedict, a side of French toast and a side of grits. The food is amazing and huge portions for the money spent! I gave it 4 stars because the space felt empty...maybe due to covid? The bartender made us delicious drinks. I will definitely go back.
