Service can be a little slow, but it is worth the wait. Everything we had was awesome! I will be bringing my brother and his wife here when they come to visit.

Follow up review....pretty sure the gravy gave me food poisoning. Eat with caution.

This is by far, one of the best breakfast place I’ve been to! The portions are ridiculously huge. Nice atmosphere. The best thing we ate was the Cornbread! Definitely the best I’ve ever had in my life! Will definitely be visiting again soon.

The chix fried steak was a large portion and tasty. Cornbread was unusual with cream cheese butter and was very gritty. Not my cup of tea. The downside of this was when I ordered a side of gravy for my chix fried steak. When the check showed that tiny cup was $6.25 i thought they were mistaken. The total for my breakfast was 32.00 and an 8 dollar tip burned 40 dollars in one trip. Not quite worth it and wouldn't go back just due to lopsided pricing.

Visited during covid times. Waited in the car a bit for outdoor seating to open up. We were able to watch them clear and clean the table from our car. I was very pleased with their covid precautions and cleaning. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. The outdoor seating was heated which was very needed as it started raining and the wind picked up unexpectedly. Placed our order and they very easily made our normal food accommodations. Food came out really quick. Let’s talk about the portion size real quick. Ordered a lot of food. When I saw these plates come out all I could think was...

oh well I don’t have to cook again for lunch or dinner!!!

Now let’s get to the food. My shrimp and grits was amazing. It was a new take on an old southern staple. Thick creamy cheesy grits topped with beautifully seasoned shrimp covered with a Bloody Mary sauce that was pure perfection. *chefs kiss* I don’t eat pork but someone’s perfectly fried golden brown pork chops and grits was a work of art on a plate and every bite she took was followed with a “ummm” *her chefs kiss* Her mimosa with the twinkle was art as well and full of fresh fruit and gummy worms!!! The Cinnabon French toast was bigger than her head and still had plenty to take it home it was a lot. All I can say is I can’t wait for covid to die down so they can open back up to full service seating inside so I can go back and try something else!!! Add this place to your list of MUST try!!!! It’s like that!!!!

Some of the best home cooked meals you can get. This is the best place for brunch within 30 miles. Try the chupacabra, seriously. It gets packed be sure to plan ahead or be ready for a wait during rush times.
Place can get very loud due to its popularity.

Dietary restrictions: Be careful if you are dairy free they put butter on pretty much everything.

The best BIG BACK restaurant in WA. Lol this place was sooooooo good and the service was excellent and prompt. I'm from New Orleans so seasoning is everything to me so when I say the food was so well seasoned it's coming from a genuine place. The fist place I've had sausage gravey and didn't have to add any salt or pepper. The serving size is intimidating. I mean these guys serve a half of chicken with the most delicious waffle. The dang bloodymary is not a tall glass but a whole dang pitcher??. 5 stars across the whole board. The first place we've gone and my husband couldn't eat all his food. I loved everything about it and we will be back bringing more people with us.
