Such a cute place. Definitely make a reservation. I took my bridal party here for brunch before we went dress shopping and it was just perfect. The drinks were phenomenal and the food was very good. The mimosa flights were mostly champagne and barely flavored which is so hard to find. The bloody Mary’s were superb and so were the brown sugar espresso martinis. And the scones that came with our breakfast were the perfect sweet touch.

If you have a baby or children don’t go hostess saw us and will not even give us a table, even though there were plenty of tables in the restaurant. We walked out. Just a flat no table or 30 minute wait. Not baby or child friendly at ALL!!!!!!!!

It was my third time here, other two visits happened during Spring and Summer, and the menus are evidently seasonal with some regular items.

We settled for Crabmelt, BLT Chicken Croissant Sandwich (both served with crunchy, crispy fries) and (regrettably) shared a bowl of Harvest Salad (mixed lettuce, cranberry, apple, feta cheese, cucumber, pumpkin seeds and an amazingly tasty in-house vinaigrette). The salad is handcrafted the gods!!!

The crabmelt is flavourful, crunchy and as luscious as it looks, and consciously recommended. The chicken sandwich comes in a soft, glossy croissant filled with rich sapid chicken in a bed of lettuce that voluntarily melts between your palates. What a gratifying lunch on a Sunday afternoon in the reticent Sumner, with a receptive service!!!!

Parking: It’s a small facility, by appointment only.

Went there today to celebrate my friend's birthday. Super cute place. I will say that I absolutely love salty food, but I could not finish the burger I ordered because it was intensely salty. Like licking just straight up salt. I let the waitress know that maybe they could adjust the salt in the future. She passed the message along to the chef. She let me know the chef was "confused" by my comment. Based on the chef' response, or lack thereof, I would not recommend getting the burger. I love salty food, but even I had to give up on this.
It was a while before we saw our waitress, so we ended up just grabbing our own napkins from the front. It wasn't very busy. We were some of the first people there. She was sweet, but we just didn't see her very much.
We ordered the chocolate mousse cake for dessert and that was delicious.
Mixed feelings about our visit. Not sure if we will be back.

Can’t wait to come back this summer and see the patio and pond area come to life! Food was pretty good and we felt the prices were more fair than many other places we have been recently. We had made a reservation ( I suggest you do as well) and were glad we did! Even with the reservation we had to sit at the bar as the guests currently dinning at our table were in no rush to leave. Service at the bar was good but hectic due to the nature of the bar. Hopefully next time a table will be available! Looking forward to coming back for a lunch and or dinner as well!

Frustrating to go out there from Kitsap county to have a 2 hr wait….so bummed. I guess you have to find 6 people to go with so you can make a reservation or be there when it opens

Our first time eating here for Sunday brunch. It was a nice little home feeling place. Food was good nothing special. They have a good sized menu with your typical breakfast dishes. That’s the reason for not giving 5-stars.

Prices are average, both of our dishes were $17. Service was alright but they were busy. Took a little while to take our order and food took some time to come out.

They have outdoor sitting and looks like it would be a nice place to dine at on a nice spring or summer day. We will most likely visit again on a warmer day to sit outside.

Great scene. Laid back enough to not be stuffy, but classy enough to feel like you're going out. Very good food, too.

Wheelchair accessibility: Nice ramp my wife on crutches liked

Jake provided exceptional service and Barb was very kind not only over the phone, but when we arrived in person also. This quaint little restaurant is a gem in the area, nestled on grounds shared w/ surrounding places, the food will not disappoint. There is also a bar with select mocktails as well. I enjoyed the experience and look forward to returning when I can.

watermelon salad and crab toast were fantastic! Please try their watermelon salad—my first time not regretting ordering a salad at a restaurant. And ofc, I love the atmosphere at the outdoor seat. it was a great way to start the weekend morning!

Very cute place inside and out, cocktails and appetizers were a 10 but the burger and salmon Caeser were both lacking

This is a lovely place to eat! Had a decent happy hour menu and a good looking drink menu we took advantage of. Had some mistakes with the service unfortunately and the burger was unusually sweet.

This was our second time at the Windmill Bistro and we will definitely be back. The service was great and the food was likewise very good. The place has a casual vibe but the quality is top notch. Definitely recommend.

We've been to the Bistro several times when we just wanted a good meal in a wonderful environment. Other times it was for special occasions and celebrations. We celebrated birthdays and also finding out we were cancer free. Over and above everything is the customer service. Incredible servers. Our favorite is Jake. He takes the effort to create a really enjoyable experience. We've never had a bad or even adequate meal. Always top shelf and always delicious. Finally let's not forget the blood Orange margaritas.
