Overpriced and slow service. Do not go here if you have anything you may be allergic to. I didn't think much of the employees; they seemed bothered to have to do their job. The food was extremely overpriced for the time it took. I could've bought something like that at a deli for a quarter of the price in a self checkout line. I'm sure I will not be back. My body is still sore from the chair I was sitting on there.

Pleasant atmosphere and relaxing time at the Bistro. Server was very helpful and friendly. Halibut for the two of us was moist and flavorful, but the zucchini noodles underneath were cold and not too tasty. Clam chowder is one of the better soups we've tasted. Chocolate toffee mousse dessert was scrumptious. We visit once or twice a year.

We've been to Windmill Bistro several times. The food is consistently delicious, the staff is consistently delightful, and we have been lucky enough to walk in without reservations and get a table more times than not. A delightful bonus this time - grapefruit nomosas! Alcohol free mimosas!! As a non-drinker who does miss wine and wine related beverages, I was thrilled! The only knock is the lack of vegan options. Some day.

We made a reservation, and I'd recommend doing so, and were seared right away. The food, coffee and service were all really good. The atmosphere was very nice and the grounds with nursery were worth a few minutes to explore.

We had a wonderful experience at The Windmill Bistro. We went for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. The service was excellent. The food was excellent. The ambiance was lovely. And the half price bottles of wine on Wednesdays took it to 11! We plan to go for brunch soon.

I have eaten here and/or stopped in for drinks here quite a few times and have some mixed feelings. The service is great, I love the ambiance and that they have an outdoor patio, but the food is always hit or miss for me. It's clear that they use high quality ingredients, but the execution is lacking. Last time I went the butternut pasta dish was very under seasoned and the root veggies were inconsistently cooked, so some bites were very hard. Their cocktails are also a little too sweet for my liking, but they are good. With a few tweaks to the food, they would be my favorite restaurant in the area.
The short rib was tender a delicious, we also loved the Flatbread appetizer.
