Best place to get a jalapeño burger, deep fried asparagus, flavored soft serve ice cream and tennis shoes. It's really good. Definitely worth the short stop off the freeway. I stop here everytime I'm driving past. Especially if my shoes are needing to be replaced. It would be nice if they had more options in formal wear but to be fair, I don't know of a single shoe store that sells a good jalapeño burger let alone deep fried asparagus.

Ive been coming to Stokes ever since i was a kid, so to say im a little biased is an understatement. However, the first time i tried Stokes was with my Papa Henry Mayfield. We just got out of chuch and were hungry so we went to stokes. We ordered and sat down, I ordered a burger, fries, and a cotton candy icecream cone, my grandpa ordered a large onion rings and a Mr.Pibb. I tried was some of the Large onion rings he ordered and the Mr. Pibb, I then instantly fell in love. From that day forward I would order a large onion rings and a large Mr. Pibb. I highly recommend Stokes Burger Ranch and China Wok. Haha ! 🍔❤️

If you grew up coming to this place then it has a special spot in your heart. Burgers and fries are delicious. The ice cream is unlike anywhere I’ve found. I still feel like a little kid when I come here. I was born in Portland and have moved around a lot including sunnyside but currently reside in Tennessee. I still tell stories of this place and how it is a staple in Sunnyside and y’all need to go there if you haven’t!

Caroline must be from Seattle or New York. Stokes is one of those great old fashioned, come in we know you, places. They use local meats, make things fresh and I have never met someone behind the counter who was rude. Picky eater-want your egg a certain way! Caroline is probably the rude person and you reap what you sow. This burger place has been around longer than I have been in the Yakima Valley. Why are they still in business? Because people like their food and service. Caroline, don't come back. We want friendly, kind people in our burger place.
