Javi’s Chicken and Churros #2

Not the best location, but they made the most of it. I heard they were struggling at the Pasco location, and I had been wating to try them, so we got take out and the food was great and reasonably priced!! Very happy we went and we hope to go back soon.

Zero idea about the food, was only there for the nightlife. They had a DJ setup when i was there that had a screen with visuals and he did a pretty good job cutting up the hits, which was mostly spanish music. The bar tender was sweet. I noticed they had Hypnotiq and Hennessy on the shelf, and went up to order an Incredible Hulk. She had no idea what that was. She looked it up, i helped her with the mix, and it was all to the G from there. I want to go back for the food at some point. Also had a band on the food side the night prior.

It was our first time visiting, the place was really clean and good vibe and atmosphere, service was really good, I ordered to carnitas tacos that where really good, definitely coming back!

Just paid $16 for the 2 piece chicken that comes with 2 sides & tortillas through Doordash.
Chicken was extremely small (lime & salsa for size reference), burnt & dry as can be.
Did not receive our sides at all.
Tortillas were rubbery.
Extremely disappointed.

2 tacos were fine.
One of us ate the other was left with nothing edible.

Ordered something simple. Two doraditas, and a consomé. Wish I took a picture. Been a customer and fan since they opened in grandview. I live in grandview so I go there a lot, to the point where I’m a recognized client. Anyways, my consomé didn’t even have a spoon full of meat in it. All water. I know how the food was originally brought up, I know how it should be served. Told the man nicely to help me out, and how it was ridiculous that it had no meat. They made a fuzz about it, continued to fix my issue. And accused me of eating the meat and then asking for more😂now I’m offended because they act like I can’t buy my food. So the old cup of consomé, I poured it out on a tray so they can see. NO MEAT AT ALL. And the server started sassin’ me like he was a kid, saying that there was no way it had no meat. Even after I dumped the cup to show him. I think the man needs to get a different job if he don’t like serving food. Thankfully he walked away, cause that kind of disrespect doesn’t go far with me.

This establishment needs to learn how to hire the right people, not just someone who needs a job. It needs values and leadership, to successfully complete their clients needs without disrespecting them. I handled everything the right way, and the server gets their ego gets hurt? I’m sorry buddy, but you need a different job.

No hospitality what so ever from the heavy set fellow there. The other waiter was on his phone all the time while we waited and eventually just left. This really sucked! We were hungry too. This is the reason why we go to Grandview.

It was my second time here and I thought my experience would be better, I was wrong. Waiters are absolutely rude, they take a while to get to your table and take your order. once they do take your order they do not come back at all and check on their tables. I definitely hope all their locations are not like this one.
