We came as a party of six to celebrate two birthdays. We had reservations so it should have been no surprise for the staff. Normally we have great service but this time the sushi was warm, the prime rib was undercooked, it took literally two hours to get our main entrees and the service was very slow and took 15 minutes to get the checks right.

Our server was friendly and pleasant, but there was no rush for service. There are no vegetarian entrees on the menu. Sure, one can order a salad or a side dish, but no actual vegetarian entree. The restaurant does not have an espresso machine. They can make an espresso martini, but not a shot of espresso coffee. We ordered the Bone-in Pork Chop (14 oz Salmon Creek Farms grilled Duroc pork chop, balsamic brown sugar marinade, maple honey herb compound butter) and the Shrimp & Scallop Gnocchi (Wild U15 fair-trade blue shrimp, diver sea scallops, lemon cream, asparagus tips, gnocchi). Both were tasty, but nothing exceptional. The wines were reasonably priced. Unfortunately the list is short. On previous occasions we have enjoyed the salmon, and would have it again.

Serves was good but the food was not good. I had prime ribs that I had trouble cutting even with a steak knife that I had to ask the waiter for. Lots of poor quality food.

We started with a bottle of wine, the house cab, then the French onion soup, and split a order of prime rib. then shared a dessert plate of chocolate cake.

Definitely Not Fine Dining Chicken was dry, tough & made dish inedible, refunded but offered no other consolation to compensate Service was Not adequate & server was reluctant to follow up. Sushi was Fresh, Steak @ Medium was more medium well, Entree was questionable per Menu description like they were winging it just throwing something together.

Adrian, our waiter was wonderful. He made sure our dinner courses were evenly spaced out. He was so friendly and kind. The hostess was also very nice, and checked in to make sure we were enjoying our dinner. Thank you for a really nice “date night”
We've eaten at The Clearwater many many times. Normally the service is on par and but this time was different. They seated us in the small side room facing the blank wall with zero decoration. There were 3 other tables with people so it was loud in the room and difficult to carry on a conversation. We sat there for what felt like forever before our server came rushing into the room to us, as if she just learned we were in her section. It was long enough that we contemplated leaving. Probably about 15 minutes. The two servers covering the four tables rarely came in. The starter salads we had were great and the halibut and risotto were fantastic, the Cajun pasta was not Cajun at all and was just ok. Drinks were great. This was not a typical experience here so we will likely be back. It was just disappointing when we know how different our dining experience here normally is.

I didn't know what to expect going into eating here. But, I was so happy that we did! Everyone that I came in contact with was really incredible. The food was great! Service was great! Hostess was great! I would highly recommend eating here! We also ordered food to go and that was done perfectly too! Great group of people working there!
