We stopped thru on our way from republic, definitely the right choice! The food was awesome, service was top notch, outside seating under a 100 year old tree with music. We would highly recommend stopping in if you are looking for great food & service.

Absolutely horrible, I ordered the chicken bacon swiss and the brought out a French dip so I pointed out I got the wrong order so they brought it back and came out with a turkey swiss no bacon. I was going to say anything because I was starving but the waitress noticed and said she would get me some bacon ( she brought out a dish with overcooked bacon on it) I finally got to take my first bite and it was very mediocre but then I saw my wife's face she found a hair melted into the cheese of her Rueben so we decided to leave. Also it's d*** you have to go inside to order and then go back inside to pay just take the money the first time I'm at the cash register, that way I can leave when ever I want. The outside seating was nice but a lot of bugs (not their fault).

This is a lovely restaurant in a small town with a beautiful summer setting as you can enjoy your food outside under a large tree. The oriental salad and BLT both were very delicious and fairly priced. Great location and wonderful service.

I have only written a review one time before now because it was so bad I had to speak up. This is different. I had breakfast and it was so good I just had to say so. The coffee was very good. My food was excellent. The hash browns were the best I ever had. Yummy! Service was great. I’ll be back!

Fabulous service! Lisa took care of us through the Founder’s Day parade, and kept us supplied with coffee and jokes throughout. AND they made me a to-go coffee without being asked!

This is a nice homey Cafe that serves very large portions. I had a biscuits and gravy meal that came with sausage and hash browns.The gravy was good without being too salty, and the hash browns were exceptionally good-crispy and not greasy.Service is friendly and the place is always busy.Kid-friendliness: This is a very community and family oriented place, if your kid is a little loud I don't think anyone would notice.

We had prime rib tonight at Shannon's and Lisa was AWESOME and the food was INCREDIBLE! Seriously, I haven't had a meal like this in well.....possibly forever! Lisa asks for your first name and remembers it. Regardless of how many people walked in the door she was personable and attentive and made you feel like you were important to her. The meal was out of this world! The prime rib was perfect, as was the salad and baked potato....the bread was so fresh and crispy and buttery and wonderful but those green beans? OUTSTANDING! I got a second serving then also ordered some to take home! I'm old enough to have had many beans in my life - whether ones I grew myself or at fine restaurants, but these were the best ever.....crunchy but cooked and hot and seasoned to perfection. I think they must stir fry them right before serving or something. Pecan pie for dessert and we were in heaven! Thank you for being there when so few people want to work, and for reminding us you guys are the best year round! Shellie
