Much love for this place..Had an amazing breakfast in the shade by the creek and the best customer service out of my entire 4000 mile trip. Definitely recommend a stop here and I will be back any time I’m anywhere near here.

The friendliest staff ever and the most delicious burgers! 🤩
My husband and I stopped here after climbing Mt. Adams and we called ahead for a pickup order. It was close to their closing time but they were incredibly kind, saying it was no problem to have our order ready for us a few minutes after they close.
Husband got a double bacon cheeseburger and I got a double Mt. Adams burger. Fresh and hot off the grill, these massive burgers were SO GOOD! They gave us life after a hard climb!
I wish I had taken photos of the food but we demolished them before I could snap a pic.
The onion rings and fries were amazing too.
Would give more stars if I could! Highly recommend!

Unexpectedly a little disappointed. I was having such a wonderful day in the mountains that it didn't even bother me much. I absolutely love the town of trout lake but this restaurant needs to get it together. I hope they can because it has so much more potential. Tuesday late afternoon 4 other customers out on tables and our group of 3. Not a busy night by any means. The back area around the building needs to have a major clean up. Watched the employee make a milkshake and saw him scoop far too much into metal cup for the spindle mixer then with the left overs after putting in paper cup starts slurping down the excess and giving me a weird look while doing it. Casher lady seemed new because she was having trouble with my meal order. I told her if she can't figure it out I'll just have a normal bacon cheese burger because the only difference from the one I was ordering was that it had bistro sauce add. I asked for ranch for my frys. The price was outrageous for our three meals. I said something and she gave a straight faced look like she couldn't hear or something. Hidden added fee or something because something wasn't adding up right. I didn't want to make a bigger deal about it. Still on cloud 9 from having a wonderful day in the mountains. Was not asked if I wanted water after the other people in my group got specialty drinks and I didn't order one. Food came to our table and I had the wrong cheese on my burger and not a trace of this special bistro sauce and no ranch dressing for my frys I ask the server for ranch he said ok I'll get it. He never came back. The meat quality in these pattys is cheap and tast like it has a filler added to the beef or something. Bacon was good! Fries were good! One of the people in my group cleaned up one of the other tables out side and walked the plates to there kitchen and was being very sweet. Highlight the creek in the back is peaceful sounding. The other people in my group loved there meals. The french dip looked delicious.

The people are friendly and the food is great. I like to go early when they first open and hear the local gossip. It’s fun to hear the back and forth banter. It reminds me of my uncles. You might even hear about new fishing holes and what the fish are biting on😃

I like to come here when I stay at ECETI, the UFO ranch nearby 🛸 James Gilliland, who locals like to call cosmic James has been making contact for over thirty years. On a clear, new moon night you are pretty much guaranteed to see UFOS 🛸

We were up at the station cafe. We have been going there for 30 years. The problems started right away when my grand daughter sat at the counter. The owners wife, very curly told her we don't serve at the counter sit in the booth. I told her we just want coffee and a sprite. She torted back I don't care you don't sit up at the counter. That's not how we run our business. We were the only people there except a friend of the wife who was sitting at the counter talking. Then the husband came in he was friendly enough took our order of 3 coffees three soft drinks and order of fries and a piece of pie. Simple enough. No!! It took almost 30 minutes. My daughter went to the counter and the owner told her to park her ass at the table. I went to the counter she was getting the pie and there were flys crawling on it! I commented there are flies on it yeah that's why we keep it covered. This place is not cheap we got a refund . Beware of you go there of the pie and the rude disrespectful owners . Never again.

What a shame
Used to get a quality
Meal here. Now, having had breakfast and dinner with our families here. It's very clear they are only after profits. Shame.

Eh, it’s ok, no frills burger and milk shakes. Not bad. Workers were friendly enough. $55 for 2 ok burgers and 1 milkshake and pop.

$65 for a bacon cheeseburger & fries, patty melt & fries, kids' cheeseburger & fries, a 8 oz. mimosa and a small sprite. A little overpriced by any standard, then you consider the inadequate service, and half the food was not edible.

We arrived, went inside, there was one couple paying for their meal and leaving, on guy at a table with drinks. We waited around, after the couple paid and left, none of the staff had even addressed us (it's a 10'×15' room, enough for a couple of dining booths, they did see us). I said hello and asked if we could sit out back. The waitress says she'll bring us menus.

Outside, one couple that only had drinks, another table with just one entree and three beverages. Needless to say, they were not busy. After about 15 minutes, and still no menus or sign of the waitress, I go in and ask if they forgot about us, we're offered an excuse of them being busy. I return to our table, and the waitress is right behind to ask if we're ready to order. I said no, we don't even have menus yet. She brings us menus and comes back shortly to take our order. After getting all of our food order written down, she scurried away without asking before we could request beverages.

After about 10 minutes, I walked back inside and requested beverages at the counter. They arrived soon and a few moments before our food arrived. Patty melt was edible, we did order potato chips with that, but ended up with French fries instead. The kids' cheeseburger was fine. The bacon cheese burger had tomatoes on it, though it was not supposed to. The hamburgers, some tiny frozen patties, that were VERY VERY overcooked.

More than half of the French fries were so over fried that you literally couldn't even bite into them or brake them with your fingers. A fair amount of them just crumpled into bits of frided potato sand. Only a few fries could even be eaten, and they were still terrible.

The only good thing about the entire interaction was the Sprite and the Mimosa.

Disappointing waste of $65. We won't be coming back.
