Bon voyage

I went a second time, and unlike my first visit, the experience was much better. The service improved, and the fresh meat on Thursdays was a highlight. Based on this visit, I’m increasing my rating and would now recommend giving it a try!

Rude restaurant owner/cook. She used inappropriate and disgusting words to refuse service.(I know they reserve a right to refuse service.) I’ll never recommend this place to anybody.

Excellent food, tasty injeras. Warning: the portions are VERY big. I'm 5ft6, 130ish lbs, and the average disb would feed maybe 2 of me.

One of the most memorable meal experiences I’ve had in a long time! Went there for my birthday and got the best Ethiopian food I’ve had in the PNW. Owner brought out a beautiful coffee service and was so sweet!! Will return 💕

Delicious food, and they brought a complementary coffee service for my friend’s birthday!

I enjoyed the food, somewhat. Service is meh....
This place is dangerous. From people bugging you to buy them food and drinks, to being attacked on my way to my car. Hit from behind, My head was split open and nose busted, kicked in the chest and road rash all over me.

Stole my phone.

There's no one limiting troublemakers there and they obviously loudly over serve those people as much booze as they want.

Go at your own risk

We chose this Ethiopian restaurant because it also had a bar which, in our experience, many do not. The server understood so little English that we couldn’t even find out if they served cocktails or anything other than beer. That was a bit disappointing. What was more disappointing was the food. I’ve never had anything less than an outstanding experience with food at an Ethiopian restaurant, but the food here (the meat combo) could only be described as mediocre, sadly. The worst thing, however, was that there was no soap in the restroom (as in, not even a container for it—nothing). It made me wonder how anyone cleaned their hands. But I couldn’t notify the server, because she understood so little English.

I ordered the Tibs Firfir from Abay, expecting a flavorful and satisfying meal, but it was a huge letdown. The dish was dry, lacking enough sauce to balance the injera, making it tough to enjoy. The flavors were underwhelming, and overall, it felt like a rushed or poorly made dish. Definitely not worth the price or the visit. Wouldn’t recommend.
