The food is really good. Definitely will try to come back again, we are a bit far, but it was on our way back home from the Museum of Flight. Definitely must order some quesabirrias if you stop by.

I love Mexican food, so I have eaten at a lot of different restaurants and I have to report that the birria at Grumpy's is exceptionally good. The classic recipe is generous, hearty and served traditional style with a big terracotta serving bowl. But the other menu items like the queso birria tacos, the birria baked potato and the birria ramen are fresh, unique and delicious also. There's great drinks, yummy appetizers and a comfortable welcoming dining room to enjoy the great food. It's a full menu ... carne asada, arroz con pollo, etc as well as some lovely sweets for after dinner. I like this place a lot.

Man the birria quesatacos with consume are out of this word. Being from Los Angeles I can confidently say these are comparable, even better than many I've tried through the years. I was very thankful they didn't try to blast my taste buds out with over the top spices, was just the right amount. The consume was just right and the hot sauce they served with it was very taseful without being overly spicy, just perfect. Excellent Mexican food and very welcoming, the server was nice and they have $5 dollar beers for happy hour (cash for the beers). Overall very satisfied with this restaurant and will definitely be coming back next time I'm in Washington.

I normally go to El Rinconsito in Federal Way for my Birria Tacos and consome or Taco City in the city.
I ordered the Quesa-Birria Tacos for 13.00 + tax. The meat was dry, the Taco shell was saggy and the cheese was non-existent.

I love it here. The staff are awesome, friendly, great service. I like the openness of the whole place, the atmosphere just is really all around good vibe. The food is delicious. If you're ever in the area you should make sure you stop there, even if your not in the area you should get in the area so you can stop in there.🙂
