I asked for my food to be boxed up so I could take it and as I went to pay they picked it up and threw it away

Ordered the Taiwanese Spicy hot soup which definitely kicked-started me from my sleepy head. đ„”đ¶ïž It has tofu, beef, noodles, a couple of mushrooms and other delicious ingredients in it. Definitely our go to hot soup place in a cold, gloomy and sleepy day.

The wait is pretty long, but it always hits the spot. Recommend going for lunch for the free tea

Weâve been going to this location for years, we love Taiwanese hot pot and being individual pots everyone can get what they want, and spice level.
The pots each have their own fuel can to keep the pot boiling and food piping hot! Comes with rice on the side. Garlic bean paste sauce is đ„. Staff are very friendly and service is fast.
Only con is Boiling Point is so popular that wait times can get ridiculous on a weekend, up to an hour wait at times. Otherwise this is our to go spots for hot pot!

The food was great as always, and I tried some of their new items. However, I had a frustrating experience with the staff. It was difficult to get their attention; they forgot about us when we needed to place our order and again when we asked for help with extinguishing the hot pot fire and for to-go containers. When we tried to get the check, I ended up walking up to the register. They assumed I was there for a pickup, and I had to clarify that I was trying to pay the bill.

I went last night with three friends and multiple of us got food poisoning. We had the beef and the miso. On top of that, the service was very lackluster, not friendly and not attentive at all. Will not be coming back, would not recommend.

Great Taiwanese hotpot!
Read the ingredients carefully, there's a few hotpot ingredients in certain packages not for first timers like stinky tofu (fermented tofu) or pork blood which are both delicious bu just not suitable for people sensitive to strong flavors.
Other than that its a great place with delicious Taiwanese style hotpot! Id highly recommend this to anyone wanting a hotpot or shabu shabu.
This place also gets really busy during normal mealtimes so be prepared to wait

I stopped by Boiling Point during a short layover on my way back to Washington DC. With just a few hours to spare, I figured hot pot would hit the spotâand it did!
There was a bit of a wait since it was the weekend around dinner time, but it wasnât too bad. The chilly weather made the warm, flavorful hot pot even more satisfying. I had the spicy Taiwanese beef hot pot and really enjoyed the depth of flavor and variety of ingredients. Everything tasted fresh, and the portion was just right for one person.
Service was friendly, though things were understandably a bit hectic with the dinner rush. Still, they managed to keep things moving and made sure we were taken care of.
Overall, a solid spot for solo hot pot or small group diningâespecially on a cold day. Would definitely come back if Iâm ever in the area again.
