Update: The name of the restaurant is Abay, they website and address state the name as Dunya. The experience and observations are my own and I'm entitled to them.I want to begin with the first red flag, no reviews. The second red flag the name on the building is not the name on Google. Third red flag the woman taking the order was confused about a menu item, the olive salad. Fourth red flag they say to order online yet they didn't pay attention and charged me via doordash, then took several days to refund the money. My daughter and son went inside to order, which is inconvenient because they had ordered online and it wasn't acknowledged nor fulfilled.I pushed past all the red flags because I have been trying to find a GOOD veggie combo and halal food options, since the closure of two of my favorite restaurants Olympic Express (halal) and Chef's Cafe (the best Ethiopian food in the gentrified CD (central district). Since moving south, I've had to go into the city to get quality food, at affordable prices. Thirty dollars for a veggie combo is nonsense, especially when the food is mid. If like to ask what the red potato/beet item was. If they were beets why didn't they taste like beets, if potatoes, why were they red?The gomen was crunchy, giving undercooked. No inshallah, i will not ever give this place another consideration, dime or thought. I will adhere to the red flags, one and done.No need for apologies or defensive words, I said what I said. I will not recommend this establishment. Do better.
