Options were limited especially for the price that they charge you for. And food is šš¼. We immediately regretted coming here the second time when the first time was not a very fun experience at all. We were just at the mall and wanted some Korean bbq and we forgot how bad our experience was the first time. Service was super slow. It was a weekend and lunch time, so I donāt get it why there was only one person in-charge serving more than 10 tables. The poor waiter didnāt even got a chance to change our grill plate because maybe he was so busy attending to other customersā needs as well. And for an AYCE, I have never heard of a waiter asked me when I was ordering our 4th plate of meat, āare you still hungry?ā. I was like - wth did I just hear?! I just looked at him because I was speechless. It felt like, he wanted us to be done eating when we only had 3 meats that we ordered and thereās two of us. It was a rude. I felt like we served ourselves, as no one bothered to turn the grill on or replace it (like how they do at other Korean bbq places without being told to do so). Lastly, when we are asking for the bill, we have to ask 3 people 4x and after 10 mins or so, we finally got our bill and finally left feeling very disappointed.

Great place and wonderful service. Was sat right away although 5 of us were at a smaller booth and then Jen noticed that it was a bit cramped and went out of her way to accommodate our party with plenty of space. Ben was our server and was great!! Also Schilly?? went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall 10/10 amazing service, attentive staff. Great food and quality! Iāve been to Gen in Hawaii, Arizona, and California, and the food quality here isnāt on the same level as those other states. I had high hopes of enjoying some good BBQ, but the freshness and quality just werenāt up to par. Maybe it was just the day I went. Iāll give it another try to see if the quality improves.
P.S. The food tasted like the marination wasnāt fully done. It felt as if the meat had only been marinated for 30 minutes to an hour before being grilled, so it lacked that deep, infused flavor. It came across more like the meat had just been dipped in sauce and immediately put on the grill.

Great food selection! The variety is always good, but it would be nice to be able to order a la carte in case you don't want to eat the "all you can eat" amount. Good service, but the combo of soft-spoken servers and loud-ish music made it difficult to hear what they were saying. It would also be nice if they had a menu to scan at the table rather than just up front. I almost feel like the tables could be bigger - once you get all your stuff to cook and your drinks and the burner is going, there's hardly any room to eat or cook without knocking something over or dragging your arm through something.
I was a little skeptical going to this restaurant because of their already poor reviews but I decided to give it a shot anyways. It was far worse than I ever expected. We were a table of five and two of our water glasses had lip stains and finger prints all over the brim. After sending them back for clean ones, we received one clean glass and another glass yet again with more stains on the brim. Based on the lack of quality control we already experienced, we decided not to get the premium package which was a wise decision. We ordered one of their flavored soju drinks for our table and when we received our drinking glasses, we noticed one of them had two big cracks in it. Of course, we asked for a new one. To our surprise, the server actually brought us another glass that had a big crack in it.
Something else I thought worth mentioning was their ridiculously tiny portions. We ordered some pork belly, pork cheeks, shrimps and vegetables and what we were presented with was 5 shrimps, one strip of pork belly, five bite size pieces of pork cheek, and five thin slices of bell peppers with two paper thin slices of zucchini. This was our limit for ordering each time and we had to wait long periods of time to reorder . We stayed for a little over two hours and ultimately ended up leaving hungry.
I wish I can say I was exaggerating but there is still so much more that actually happened. There are clearly lots of problems when it comes to management and quality control and I canāt imagine this is a system that will last. I really hope this place can change for the better because there is so much potential. The inside is very well put together and they have a very sociable atmosphere.

The restaurant is nice but could be smoky or smell of burnt. I guess this is expected for a BBQ restaurant but still, consider if you need to go somewhere else after it. Their appetizer is good. We tried mandu and cheese chicken. The marinated meat was fine. A little bit sweet but shouldn't be a problem. But when it comes to non-marinated meat, like "prime" steak and shrimp, it really shows the food doesn't seem to be fresh. The soup is extremely salty. The side dishes were never refilled despite we asked for it literally 4 times and they did confirm to do so. So that was 1 turn of side dishes for 4 people for the entire dinner. Salad never came either. And the wait time between order turn seems very long. I wouldn't complain on this but the overall experience was really bad. We gave up on waiting to order and decided to leave early with a hungry stomach ?. I personally wouldn't come back

If you like Mexican style BBQ this is your place. Pollo and carne asada at Korean bbq? They serve you ready to eat tortillas on the same plate with the raw meat. How does that make sense? Meat is definitely low quality and not worth the price. For the same price you can go to much better places
