I had a great experience at Grill City in Tukwila! The food was fresh and delicious, but what truly made the visit exceptional was Linda. She was amazing—friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcomed. Her service alone is worth coming back for.

The service felt rushed, and two employees in particular seemed disengaged and inattentive. They did not appear interested in listening to customers, which made the experience feel unwelcoming. Another staff member repeatedly asked us to repeat our order, yet still failed to provide what we requested. Overall, the process was chaotic, disorganized, and lacked hospitality. Additionally, some food labels were missing or mismatched, adding to the confusion.

The price point of $9.99 for a two-side, one-entrée dish was reasonable. The turon, chicken adobo, and pork adobo were flavorful and well-seasoned. The adobos leaning more on the sweeter side without being overly vinegary or salty. However, the mini eggs in the adobo were noticeably overcooked, suggesting they had been sitting in the dish too long. The lumpia and pancit were acceptable but not remarkable. Unfortunately, the food was served at room temperature, which diminished the overall quality—likely due to the slow-moving line.
Overall Impression
The food itself shows promise, with certain dishes standing out in flavor, but the overall experience was impacted by poor service, long waits, and inattentive staff. The cashier was the only friendly employee, though service at checkout was slow. I would consider returning when it is less crowded, with the hope that service and attentiveness improve to match the potential of the food.

Having a go-to spot for breakfast can be so convenient and comforting. You know what to expect, and they probably know your order by heart! Filipino breakfast is amazing! I'm sure Grill City does it justice. Im a fan of classic Filipino breakfast dishes like tapsilog (cured beef, garlic fried rice, and egg) or longsilog (Filipino sausage, garlic fried rice, and egg)! Good food and service can make all the difference in a dining experience. It's awesome that Grill City delivers on both fronts. Im inviting you all to also enjoy your future breakfasts at Grill City!

My favorite place to go to for some real good Filipino food! The BBQ chicken is so tasty and the fact that I can get a scoop of rice with pancit and a small side of sinagang or tinola really hits the spot! The staff is very friendly and respectful too.

I have a suggestion:
* Would it be better if customer who orders halo halo should wait by the cash register and leave only once the order is up? OR
* Give out numbers to customers who orders halo halo and call it out once it's ready?
I have issue because when I ordered I was told that halo halo will take a while to do. So I sat on the table and I have observed that customers in line that just ordered meal with halo halo gets their halo halo first! Another one came after another it was the same thing! That's when I decided to go see the cashier and ask for it 2x before I finally get it.

I am never going here again. My family just got food poisoning from the kare-kare and they kept on pooping, especially at 3 in the morning! I want to call the health department and I hope this place gets shut down for good. Not only that, but we were at a graduation party and almost everyone was pooping A LOT. It was so bad that my mom was using the public restroom to poop. Also, my mom paid $750 for almost all of my family to get sick. So absurd!
I ordered lechon from Grill City for my boys’ birthday and paid over $400. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The lechon was dry, mostly burnt, and lacked the traditional spices that should be inside the belly—it was completely empty. That savory, flavorful touch that makes lechon special just wasn’t there. For the price, I expected much better quality. Honestly, I regret not going with Tropical, even if theirs costs more. I don’t recommend Grill City’s lechon to anyone. Very disappointing.
