Halwo Kismayo Grill

Weird experience i guess. Food was OK but no return planned. Guy at the counter struggles with English (not shocking as the place is a Somali joint) but had trouble getting my order right even when I pointed to the numerous huge photos of their food on the wall. Chicken sandwich was about a 6.5 out of 10 (Chick Filet has nothing to worry about), chicken samosa was not the one to get (4/10) but the beef samosa was at least 7.5/10. My Son's burger was an 8/10 and so was the cheesesteak as an 8/10 also with good combo of sauce, cheese and bread. My advice is to stick with the beef and consider avoiding the bird.

Very nasty dirty bathroom, no hand soap or toilet paper or paper hand towels.

They gave me spoiled samosas. It’s as if they don’t throw away the old ones. Never going back there again. They used to be good place but I guess once they starting making money they don’t care if they sell rotten food.

The food is really good, Sambosas and Eggs with Chapati are my favorite breakfast meal, and with the ginger milk tea, makes it outstanding 😊

Walking in the place looks dodgy, but decent services, huge serving potions.

great place to come for cheap food, ive taken 3 of my friends and they all agree the chicken sandwhich is a 9/10. ill be coming back here multiple times. food is also halal if you are wondering.

Really good food and huge servings. Decent service.
Will be easier if you speak the language. Be careful how you order so you don’t get stuck with some custom meal for $30!
Does get pretty hot inside, Incase you’re planing to dine in.

Place had plenty of parking. Just swang by the neighborhood craving some sambusa and found my new regular spot. Very reasonable priced and no wait time at all as they were pre made ready to go. Will be coming back for sure.
