One of those days when I was craving some comfort food, so I stopped by Jollibee, the Filipino fried chicken chain. I noticed that the rice is now served in a cup rather than scooped onto the plate. It actually feels like a better portion size for American customers, since the old scoop sometimes left me wanting a bit more. I also saw that they now offer a biscuit, which clearly seems like a move to broaden their appeal to people who enjoy fried chicken with a biscuit. 🍗🍚
Keeping its Filipino identity by adding American elements. What is next? A packet of jam with UBE to go with the biscuit. Lovin’ it.

Fried chicken and mac n cheese was so good, mashed potatoes have skins in them so I didn’t love that but that’s my preference. The service was great they were moving so quick we waited maybe 10 minutes for food that was for 4 people. The layout is a bit odd since it’s in a mall and got overcrowded so we didn’t eat inside.
