I have had Somalia food before. Their food didn't do it for me
Nice people and service, not a fan of their lam shank ..goat and rice pilaf...didn't have spices i am use to t...maybe cuisine is from different part of Somalia than the other Somalian restaurants i have been.

The bariis (rice) they gave me was from yesterday which they microwaved. And you could tell the spaghetti was from yesterday as well because is dried up, and they microwaved it, and then served it to us. The meet was lamb, that was fine, the chicken stake not the best.

Was a very short visit, I asked if they had soup and the gentleman explained yes, it’s made with goat broth. I asked for one to go. He asked “just soup?” And I said yes (was craving soup but not from the area and it was close to where I was training). Literally my bowl of soup was only $2, while its broth and small chopped cabbage with amazing seasonings it was SO good and hit the spot. Next time I’m in the area I’m going back. The other people’s dishes smelled and looked amazing walking through the restaurant.

A pretty good Halal food that I have eaten so far. All the menu items are traditional in taste and excellent.

The food is top notch. The portions are very generous. My wife, and I, usually order one plate and split it. Sometimes we even take some home. The patrons are overwhelmingly male. The place is noisy. The prices are reasonable. The menu includes beef, chicken and lamb.

Family member ordered takeout (goat/rice dish). We basically got bones - there was barely any meat in the dish we got. Looks like someone else in the reviews had the same experience recently for take out as well.

The rice was cold and microwaved. And the spaghetti was dry as if it was in the fridge for some time
