The staff here is great. Very warm, very friendly and very inviting. The atmosphere here will make you want to come here often.
This place is incredible! It is a small cafe, but they serve delicious Mediterranean food from 12-8pm. The price is very cheap for what you get and the service is amazing, especially for a cafe. Definitely worth a visit!
The Mediterranean food is very good, beyond wonderful, shawarma, falafel, hummus, and biryani. Very friendly and welcoming.

I cannot recommend this place enough. Great food, great beverages, friendly and welcoming staff, and excellent community service. I love the Italian sodas and their breakfast plate is the perfect size and a great value. They even gave us a free birthday cookie. Kona Kai deserves all of your patronage and support.

I'm surprised there aren't more reviews! This is a great place, to grab a Chai Tea, and a slice of Banana Bread, which I picked up this afternoon. The Hostess was very pleasant, and we had an easy conversation. While we were talking, the other Hostess brought my Banana Bread to me...it was expertly-heated. I highly-recomnend this coffee shop. It's close enough to the library, where you can check out a book, go over to Kona Kai Coffee, and revel in your respite.
So underrated. The baristas are extremely kind and easygoing. The options have something for everyone.
