This place is so great! The place is clean, the food is good, and the employees are awesome. This is the best food I have had from a restaurant in a long time. Our server was super nice and was always offering help. The food was delicious, the best dish we got was probably the Chicken Wings. The Chicken Suugar and Beef Suugar meat was a little overcooked but the flavors where good. Definitely recommend

Had the pleasure of dining here a few months ago and even though they were out of the lamb, the goat was perfection! Everything was clean and the service was great. Hope they reopen, it's nice having authentic East African food here.

Kid-friendliness: Didn't have my kids with me but it would have been a welcoming experience for them also, family dining is recommended here.

Came across this place by accident and I’m so glad we did. The server greeted us immediately as we came in and was very friendly and quick about getting our order. Our food came out quickly and the flavors were delicious! Definitely recommend :)

One of the best restaurants in greater Seattle area. The goat plate was so delicious and we loved their traditional tea as well.

Stopped by here after coming back from a long flight from Chicago. So glad they were open that night! Incredibly kind owners that were very welcoming to us and provided great recommendations. We ordered the beef suqaar and goat meat plate. They were out of some other plates because they are so popular. The food was so delicious that we licked our plates clean. Great community and absolutely delicious East African food. They even gave us some delicious bottomless tea to go with our meal. It was great to see cultural religious practice rented out in the restaurant as well; really provided a beautiful sight of cultural diversity and inclusion. Thank you for your welcoming service and for sharing your delicious food with us. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area! (Only recommendation is improvement on the decorations and interior of the restaurant, but they had just opened a few months ago when we had visited.)

Chicken sandwich appears basic but it was deceptively really good.

Definitely get the beef sambusas, and the curry (to americans, the curry here is like a consommé or a jus) and pour it over everything, you will be happy. Nothing was spicy, unless you pour the green sauce on (do it!!)

Got the goat plate as the lamb shank plate is sold out, the rice is just so so so good, maybe cooked with broth? So tasty, the vegetables and the rice are definitely 5 stars, and the lamb itself I would rate 4 star. The service is amazing too! Highly recommending this place!

Excellent service and good quality food! We ended up getting the chicken curry plate and chicken suugar plate and both were delicious!! Highly reccomend the chicken suugar if you’re unsure of your choice.

We left full and happy for a very reasonable price!
