I looked over the menu and most was Tilapia fish, but so expensive! I first stood there for a very long time with nobody around to order if I wanted to, when I finally got someone I was frustrated, so I just ordered Sambusa's (2 to be exact), thinking they would be like the ones I fell in love with as a child, so so disappointed when these tiny little triangles no bigger then the middle of my palm came to me for $8+, with very little filling and lots of crispy outside! My heart was so broken because I have been looking fir years for someone that makes them and these were not it, they weren't as advertised (filling wise) they were very skimpy on their filling and/or the ingredients advertised, yet it was so much so that most of the ingredients weren't in the filling . I don't know if it was because it wasn't enough filling or just the ingredients were missing, however disappointed in the sambusa all the way around! When I was a child I fell in love with African food because of the original families that came with pride in their food and wanted to share it, now it's just about money with no care or heart in the food!! Tilapia is a cheap fish but prices were not cheap at all! Business was none and very slow service! Maybe someone else may enjoy it so give it a try! I have a very specific palette for good taste and there just wasn't enough of what I bought to find flavor!

Parking: If full it would be a problem, but lucky it was pretty empty!

Wheelchair accessibility: Flat ground and lots of room for wheelchairs!

My first dish was sponsored by Too Good Togo. The food is EXCELLENT! It’s everything I’d like to eat in a daily basis. The seasoning is perfection being on the milder side. It I’ll make you want more and they have foods that are Low Glycemic. Wish I could have found this place when it first opened, I am huge fan now!!????

List themselves as open for pickup on food apps when they're closed. Don't make the drive unless you explicitly call them

Came here for the first time and it was quiet on a Friday late afternoon. The owner and chef made some great recommendations and the dishes were piping hot, fresh, and so flavorful. Service was a little slow, but that only whet our appetite. Happy to support a small business.

Went to pick up order at specified time through app and restaurant was closed- reached out to resolve issue via phone and was not answered, 2 other customers had same issue as me. This was pretty disrespectful of the business to do. I would not recommend this restaurant since they offer pick up times when they are not open and are unresponsive to contact.

I do takeout so I'm not rating the atmosphere. Although, one time I stopped in they had a couple there, he was playing the guitar and she was singing. I'm not familiar with them or their music. It looked like it was a planned event.

Bad service also hid price from me not worth the money for the portion. Go here please.. if you love disappointments

I ordered the chicken bowl from them at the Magnuson popup. It cost $28, and they gave me a tiny amount of food. The person at the counter also deliberately hid the price screen from me until after I had put my credit card in, and there were no prices listed on the menu that was there.

Ok this place is becoming one of my favorite places and East African is fast becoming one of my favorite foods!

The samaki (fried fish) was excellent, and the pilau (rice dish) was fresh and tasty!
