I took a chance and ordered 10 bean and cheese pupusas to go. This was my first time trying this restaurant. I have been going to another Salvadorian restaurant in the past. I always use my own salsa so I chose not to get their salsa or their veggies. When I got home I was very happy with my order.
The food was good, but nothing special. The people working were great! Several tweaker hanging around the gas station, but no one bothered us.
Bland pupusa, decent enough tacos, great service.
Overall it was 👍
Tried the pupusas, tamales and fried plantains.. everything has great flavor, can tell is freshly made and great portions. Actually heading back tonight to grab some more lol overall good food ❤️

Maybe I came on an off day?Patiently waited approximately 30min for my moderately sized order… 2 items were missing when they called me up to the window. She said she didn’t charge me for it (I couldn’t cross reference because she didn’t give me a receipt after I paid), but I said I’d pay and wait… again. That took another 10ish minutes. When I finally get home to eat, I was thoroughly disappointed. The meat in the pupusas were overly minced, giving an unpleasant texture. The slaw was overly bitter and salty, the red sauce tasted like V8 juice, and the tamale was mostly masa. I ended up throwing the plate away.

The pupusas are very good. The tamales put too much salt in them.
