I had a good time in this restaurant as usual.
Boy, I hope that this was a night when the regular chef was on vacation or something as I'd never had more horrible Japanese food in my life. The yakitori was the size of a small marble, super-hard, dry and utterly tasteless. They were supposed to be tare, but I couldn't detect any signs of tare sauce whatsover. The takoyaki and unagi were actually good, but the rest literally inedible. We had to leave more than half on the plate after tasting. They handed out free beer to patrons while we were there, perhaps feeling sorry for everyone (?). Service was meh with our having to remind the waiter to bring dishes that we had ordered, like the miso soup which should've come out first. I've had a LOT of Japanese food, having lived there many years and having worked in a couple Japanese restaurants in the U.S. and this was by far the most disappointingly sad Japanese food I've had yet.

No offense but we'll be out first and last time to come here. We drove from Vancouver for the weekend. Decided to eat here because of the high rating but we were disappointed. Portion is minimal and after eating here we weren't even full. Portion size doesn't justify the price.

Amazing food and quick service! I loved that we could order everything from our phones and the food came quickly. The creamy udon was like a creamy garlic sauce and the wagyu sukiyaki was a meal on a stick. 10/10!
Vegetarian options: They have some vegetarian options but it it mainly meat
Parking: It's in a shopping pavillion so plenty of parking

This place has an "okay" rating. If that isn't enough, there's a throwup/diarrhea protocol posted on the entrance (I didn't notice until I was leaving) It's also crazy that there's a mandatory tip for a group of 4+, especially bc the servers don't interact with you except for when they drop orders off. They don't even take your order. Unfortunately, my friends also got upset stomachs after eating here too. Udon was alright. The beef was 90% chewy fat. Chicken karaage was probably the worst I've ever had. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't worth the money either. Would not come back or recommend.

This place is ok. Probably won't be going back. It is really expensive and I don't think it was worth it. You can't choose the type of meat you get in their combo yakitori. We got the combo and tbh, it was all mystery meat. Had no idea what we were earing until it was too late. The skewers you get to choose is like $5 per piece! The skers are SOOOO small. You get like 3 pieces of meat.. TINY pieces. Food our table ordered was brought to the table adjacent to ours. I guess I'd say don't come here hungry, otherwise you'll be spending hundreds of dollars.

Very clean! New and modern, menu is an easy scan QR code and order direct to your table. Open late with a quiet relaxed atmosphere. Food is authentic Japanese.
