I've been here a handful of times. The staff are always super friendly and polite. They get me a table very quickly. The place is always very clean and tidy.

The food is good. I tend to stick to a few different rolls and then try something new every once in awhile. They have a happy hour deal of 3 rolls for 33 bucks. And given most all the rolls are around 15 bucks it's a great deal. On today's visit the server told me of the deal, so I ordered it. She was very helpful and polite and kind.

The food it's self might not be the most amazing sushi ever. But it is a good sized step up from conveyor belt sushi. And for the price the quality and amount of food is a great deal. It would be a good place to bring a family with young kids or a group of adults, they do have alcohol.

We were not expecting the sushi to be so delicious, sat at the bar and had the sushi all you can eat. The sushi chefs were great and attentive. The sushi was on point, rice was delicious, rolls are large and tasty. One suggestion, white Onion does not belong in rolls. Other service (waitress) was subpar, but sushi chefs made up for it. Thank you Michael and sushi chefs for an awesome meal.

The manager on duty during happy hour this evening could have been more polite and less problematic. I ordered a substitute on a long roll, as I have before at this location and 2 in Tacoma, and was informed by the waiter that there would be a $5 upcharge. I hapily agreed. Close to 10 minutes later, the manager comes to my table to tell me, "The substitute you ordered will account for a lot of shrimp that I need to keep inventory of in the back. Since it's so much, you are going to owe a lot more than $5. I will charge you for 2 appetizer dishes, and since it's happy hour right now, it will be less than normal." I asked how much the substitute would be. He started looking at his handheld, and I mentioned that I don't recall being upcharged before nor having this much trouble with my request because I order the same meal every time. He said, well do you always get the regular amount of shrimp that comes in the roll? I replied I believe so, I have no idea what the normal roll looks like. He said, okay, we will only charge you $5, and we will NOT be able to make your roll in the future. I said, I will never order it again. I wanted to say that I would never return to the establishment again, but I didn't want my food tampered with.

I thought the managers' statements were rude and tacky. I don't think I should have been confronted as a paying customer if I agreed to the upcharge and absolutely no resolution was made. It was an uncomfortable, unnecessary, and embarrassing visit to my table.

We had a FABULOUS experience at Trapper’s Sushi this evening. It was our first time here and so glad we came. My boyfriend and I sat at the bar and discovered it was still Happy Hour so of course that made us happier! Our server, Shelly, helped us figure out what to order. The food, the wine, beer, ambiance and service were simply amazing. Looking forward to our next visit. ?

I went a month ago, and the service was horrible.

At all costs, avoid the sushi chef named Connor.
He wasn't kind, would refuse to make our sushi orders even if we were well below the limit per round, was like, "gimme your plate" when asked politely if we can have ginger and Wasabi. He wouldn't even look at us when speaking to us, and generally made me feel humiliated when interacting with him. I was in disbelief at how much attitude he was giving off. I had to confirm with my gf that this was really happening because I genuinely could not believe someone was acting like this at their job.

Thomas, on the other hand, awesome. Went a few times before, had him making Sushi for us. Communicative. Kind. Confident. He's great.

Connor. A nightmare. Maybe he was having a bad day, but he was so rude I decided I'd avoid this location entirely.

Can't say enough good things about this place. AYCE selection was ample. Service was fast and friendly. Nigiri sushi was fresh and tasty and the roles were mouthwatering. It's located at the mall with an entrance on the parking area. Joey and Alorah were most delightful and Alorah schooled.me on the AYCE ins and outs. A return visit is needed to try the other items on the menu.

There is no line. But you need to wait for 20min to order and another 20min for the food and another 20min for check. Food is ok. It is so slow! Never come back!!!

First time here and it was lovely. The food was very good. The service was pretty good on a busy night. The restaurant itself looked a little tired. They have TVs with games on. One of the TVs behind the bar needs to be replaced. The all you can eat option is great, especially if you have the appetite of a Sasquatch. Overall I enjoyed it.

The inside looks a little run down (like you can see supplies and wires, bad separation from the back of the house) but the food is great and fast!

Our coworker recommended Trapper's. So we visited Trapper's for the first time while in town for a conference & absolutely loved it! I'm a huge sushi fan & quite picky when it comes to sushi but this place was really good! My husband & I did the all you can eat sushi for dinner & enjoyed it so much. We will definitely be going back. Each roll was made as you ordered. We paid the same price we would've paid for about 2 rolls anywhere else. I ate 4 rolls & my husband ate 5. Definitely check this place out if your in the area.

Drinks:
BLUEBERRY LEMON DROP: This is a very good tune! Highly recommended!
SEA MONSTER MAI TAI: This concentration is high? I didn’t like it very much the first time I drank it, but my colleagues said it tasted good.
It was the first time we saw a bunch of general categories of sushi. We ordered MT. RAINIER and sounder were pretty good. The waiters were also very polite and allowed us to swipe our cards. There was also an app. The combination of Japanese and American style felt very special ? Thanks Steve, and the sister who took the table?A simple meal costs about 77 yuan for four people.

I love coming here, the food is good with adequate service. The only thing this restaurant lacks is the fact that all the screens on the tv are blue. Its not easy on the eyes. I would come here a lot more to watch the game if they would change that up.
