Had a disappointing experience at Trapper’s Sushi. We visited for all you can eat sushi at dinner. We were promptly greeted and taken back to the sushi bar. Unfortunately that’s where the positive experience ended.
We waited for 15 minutes without being greeted by the sushi chef or having our drink order taken. We were actually getting ready to leave and were discussing where else we would go when someone finally came to take our order. I really wish we would have just left.
The food was bland and most rolls were just a variation of a California roll. The plates were dirty. My plate had dried on sauce? On it and it just grossed me out. The second plate also was dirty as was my glass. I stopped eating at that point.
When we went to pay I noticed the price was different than what is posted online. Their website says dinner ayce is $36.95 however it was actually $39.95.
I feel like I got ripped off. I’m grateful I didn’t get sick from the dirty dishes

Some of the rolls were lacking in flavor. I thought the miso soup was pretty lame but for $26.99 the all you can eat lunch menu is pretty banging. Michael (at the bar) was awesome, excellent service and quick to ask if I need anything or am ready for my next round. I’d probably not come here for individual rolls but all you can eat id definitely come back for. There was a 25 min wait but I just threw my name and number down and walked around the mall (entrance just around the corner) until my table was ready

Really good sushi with big rolls. I went with the bar tenders suggested Bonnie Lake roll(huge roll with spicy crab) and the Tis The Salmon roll. I was considering a 3rd roll but once these 2 arrived I knew that was not needed.

I never leave reviews but this place was literally so horrible. 45$ per person without tip and literally the worst service I’ve ever had, to get my appetizers it would take 30 minutes. The waiter came by twice the whole meal. Not to mention the person making the sushi for the all you can eat took a break in the middle which is fine but have someone to cover. Don’t just have me sit there for 10 minutes doing nothing. Food is also pretty bad especially for the price point. If anyone is still reading go to like Sumo for AYCE it’s cheaper, better sushi, and they actually have real service.

I’ve been enjoying trappers sushi since the original one opened in Bonney lake. Eaten trappers hundreds if not thousands of times. Came to the Tukwila location for the first time and was very very disappointed. The service and the food was very disappointing. Made an online order and waited 20 minutes before walking in then waited another 45 minutes for my food. The restaurant was completely dead at this time. The food was also very low quality compared to the trappers I know and love very much. I hope this restaurant ups their game to the standards of every other trappers around
