My kids were craving sushi so we went here last night (Wednesday 12/17/2025) at 8:24pm and the host refused to seat us stating it was too close to closing time of 9pm which was 35 minutes away. The host stated that he does not like seating a large group this close to closing time. We were a party of 4 (Me, my wife and two little kids under 8 yrs old). We still wanted the sushi so we were forced to order to-go. We order to-go and paid and our receipt is time stamped 8:27pm (33 minutes before closing). The food was good and the atmosphere look like it would have been nice if the host would have allowed us to dine in. The host made it seem like he just wanted to get out of work ASAP. I’m not sure if they do this every night 35 minutes before closing or this was just a one-off thing.

I’m not going to tell you this or the most elite sushi in the world, but the value, atmosphere& service makes this our absolute go to sushi spot!
This was our first time, and we were fortunate enough to arrive while the all-you-can-eat lunch special was still on so, we took advantage of that! It doesn't give access to the entire menu, of course, but there were still alot of tasty options to choose from and we enjoyed every bite. It would be hard to pick a favorite, but the Phoenix stands out to me most as I write this. I was really pleased with our server, Alana (I think I might have gotten that wrong), who was friendly and attentive, but not overly attentive, and she didn't ask if we needed anything while our mouths were full. Ji (I might have that wrong as well) was also really friendly, and his experience in making sushi was palpable! Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone who already enjoys sushi, as well as to those who are interested in giving it a try!

Shelly (sp?) And Mo were so nice! I got checked on multiple times thru out my meal. Whoever the cook was did an amazing job with the sushi today. Best I've had here. My order was right and took little to no time. Thank you Southcenter Trappers!!

Good food but the reason I didn’t rate 5 is because I wish they focused on people parking in their curbside. I’m pregnant and was craving fried sushi but unfortunately i had to walk 2 parking lots over to get my order that I ordered specifically for pick up. Which isn’t fair for anyone especially anyone who is disabled, pregnant, etc.

All roll are superb. The Nigiri cuts are huge. The wonton poke taco is amazing! They have the best chicken teriyaki I had it was fresh chicken thigh.
The server are supper polite and enthusiastic.

The wait and service here is so much better than the trappers in Covington. The staff are really friendly and the chefs are also very nice.

There was a chef named Adam that gave me a free sushi roll because I only got seaweed salad, he was very kind and knowledgeable about the menu. Both him and Jay made me and my friends experience very enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend coming to this location for the excellent customer service.

We decided to try this sushi place because we really enjoy the North Bend location and expected a similar experience. Unfortunately, all of us ended up a bit disappointed. The flavors just weren’t as bold or fresh, and the overall quality didn’t match what we’re used to in North Bend. A few dishes felt under-seasoned, and the sushi didn’t have the same balance and taste we love from the other branch.
That said, the atmosphere was pleasant, clean, and comfortable. The service was friendly and attentive, which we truly appreciated. It’s a nice place to sit and relax, but the food itself didn’t live up to our expectations based on the North Bend spot.
We might give it another try in the future, but for now, the North Bend location is still our favorite.

Ownershio are right wingers who need to let you know they are with the names on thier menu items.
Also, the hot food was warm, the cold food was warm, and the service and prices not up to snuff.

This place was trash. Service was very slow and the food was terrible. Paid way too much for cold miso soup and a roll that was basically only rice. So disappointed and dissatisfied with my meal. Will never come here again.

Food quality was bad and the head chef bald guy was very rude to his employees yelling at them and giving them condescending remarks.
