Stopped by the little mom-and-pop shop as it was across the street from our hotel. The food was delicious and the staff was so friendly and kind, checking in on us often. Highly recommend!

I'm at the hotel across the street. I was originally going to walk over to the mall area and the Olive Garden, but I saw the sign for teriyaki and thought it would be good to support a small business.

I walked in through the mini mart. The man behind the counter asked if I was looking for teriyaki after I looked a little lost. He pointed me to the other side of the shop and met me over there.

I wish I'd thought to ask his name. He was very nice and personable. I told him I'd be in town for a couple days and was looking for a good spot. I asked what's good on the menu. He pointed out a few things, but I settled on the spicy orange chicken.

When I checked out, I thought it might be a tad pricey, but I also recognize the importance of helping a small business. While I waited for my order, I went back to the mini mart side and got a ginger ale and some gum. The same gentleman rang me up there.

Then, back next door, I looked at my phone for a minute or two, and he came back to thank me for my patience. While thoughtful, I was not put out at all, I had only placed the order a few minutes before, and it really didn't seem like much of a wait.

My food came out in short order, he bagged it up and put all the things I'd need (utensils, napkins, soy sauce) inside before I asked. He left me with a smile, and I walked across the street to my hotel to eat.

Bringing it up to my room, I saw that it was a lot of food. Honestly, I SHOULD have only eaten half and saved the rest for the next day. But I didn't.

The orange chicken was perfect. Just delicious. The rice was just right. Honestly, I can't think of a thing that would make it better.

Highly recommend for both the food and the service.

First time coming by & what a nice surprise. We were greeted right away by the [i presume] owner & chef. Ordered our dishes & received them very quickly. The lady who brought them out was also very friendly & warm. They explained to me that all sauces are made in house & no MSG. I like MSG but that's besides the point haha.

We ordered the basics; spicy teriyaki & chicken katsu. We loved it & had to ordered another dish. It's a lowkey, no frills place with good food & nice people running it. I'm excited to go back & try more food.

My wife and I had an amazing time at this great mom-and-pop restaurant. The food was phenomenal, the quantities were perfect, the fried rice just popped. The best part is their handmade sauces and dressings. Don't sleep on this place, it's a must try if you're in the area. Super friendly people, great service. I would give it more stars if I could.

We ordered spicy pork teriyaki and orange chicken with spicy sauce as well as an order of gyoza. Everything was delicious and Van was attentive and welcoming. Portions are generous. We have enough for another meal!

We walked across from our hotel to grab dinner and it was AMAZING!! The teriyaki meat had a deep flavor and sweetness, reminiscent of holiday cookies. The house fried rice was probably the best fried rice I've ever tasted. The orange chicken was crispy with a perfectly flavored citrus sauce. The yakisobe was so good, my teenager didn't let anyone else taste it before he ate it all. My kids were the ones who insisted we leave this review to make sure we share that this was easily one of their favorite restaurants ever. And that's pretty high praise from my guys! Definitely worth the wait for such great food.

Visiting from Texas. Lived here 30 years ago and have been looking for “the little teriyaki place we used to eat at” on every visit. While driving down the road we saw this sign and were hoping it was the same place. And it was. The owner welcomed us and the food was amazing. Made fresh, homemade dressing for the “salad” and homemade teriyaki. DELISH. even came back while we were heading to the airport!!

The best teriyaki in the area. The meat is always tender and cooked to perfection, the rice is the best I've had so far. Nothing on their menu disappoints. Great for a quick bite
