Took my kids here a few times since moving. We aren't too big on fast food, but we always get free ice cream cone from Easter. The husband and I share a big cup and are always good. Each time, the cashier who serves us is always respectful and pleasant.
Someone needs to have a talk with the older lady that works there to not yell at all the kids with a nasty attitude in front of customers. She was so nasty and rude to them I wanted to say something. It really ruined the atmosphere of the place. They’re just kids.
Wildly bad service, haven’t had DQ in quite some time - order was just not followed due to poor listening from employee.
The chicken strips basket was so empty, why make the box that big if the employees aren't meant to fill it... Also the manager here appeared to be training a new girl and was not very patient so that wasn't fun to see. Chill, it's just Dairy Queen.
Automatically worse since chris stopped working there , just not the same ☹️

I asked for some deli bars from the freezer and he said hell no son
My order came to $15 even for a Blizzard and chicken strips. It was just what I was looking for

This Dairy Queen is run correctly and it shows from top to bottom. They actually have enough staff to do the job. Other fast food places in Tumwater do not invest in having enough people and their service and product suffers. Above the local competition and really tasty.
I did on one occasion have an encounter with a rude employee, but I generally like coming here. Jackson is a most professional and pleasant young man, and I would definitely eat here again.
Right next to a school, so they are busy af usually.
