Ordered take out from this place. All things we ordered were pretty tasty. Ramen, sushi, terriyaki all great. Online ordering is very easy to use and it took only 15 minutes for the food to be ready.

This was my first time trying this sushi restaurant, and I couldn’t be more impressed! I went with my parents and our infant baby, and from the moment we walked in, we felt completely welcomed and comfortable.

The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating — they helped us get settled with the high chair and made sure we had everything we needed for the baby. It’s not always easy dining out with family, especially with a little one, but this place made it feel effortless.

The atmosphere was warm, clean, and relaxed — definitely a family-friendly environment while still feeling modern and stylish.

And the food? Absolutely incredible. We tried a few of the specialty rolls and some classics, and everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. You can tell there’s a lot of care and quality behind every dish.

This was our first visit under the new management, and we’ll definitely be back. A perfect spot for families, date nights, or anyone who just loves great sushi!

Absolute perfection for a lazy night,
Most sushi places go too hard on ambiance and have insane prices with less than adequate service, me and my boyfriend tried this place despite living so close for so long and we were blown away!

Today marks our second visit and the staff are incredibly accommodating and friendly, they notice if there's a way to help you take advantage of a special to make the meal affordable they will let you know, and overall if you're looking for a cheap price at a high quality it is not hard to have a filling meal at a reasonable price. Another thing is the dine-in experience is fantastic with the smaller location allowing the service to feel very intimate (professionally of course!)

One thing that makes it immediately apparent how good the quality of the food is, is that miso soup is clearly made from scratch; it's head and shoulders above any place in Olympia's miso, and the quality of the food doesn't stop at soup.

There are options for things like Korean things bibimbop and soju, and some teriyaki or cooked rolls, making this a perfect place for anyone, even your step brother who doesn't eat any fish and pretends they gag if they smell it on their food, but we all know you didn't have your precious chicken touched by fish Karl, you need to stop.

5 stars all around, give it a try for lunch or dinner and appease even the Karl in your family!

I was needing a refreshing meal on a hot day. The staff was amazing. I felt very waited on and helped by everyone. Inclusive and safe. Thank you for my sushi rolls. I loved them both.
I drank water and diet pepsi and felt so much better before getting on the road.
The rolls rice ratio was good.

Their bento box is delicious. (2025) Updates to the Bento Box, now you get the standard fixin's plus a choice of two special items which I would say as the main entree plus an extra sushi item in addition to the California roll that comes standard. All in all it is a heftier portion and that does come with a heftier price at $19 for lunch and $22 for dinner. Still a good value and of course the food at Koibitos is always top notch.

Pulling into the restaurant we began to second guess our restaurant choice because of the gas station. However we were very pleased that we went in because the food was absolutely delicious. Quick service, fresh fish and great tasting food, and a quiet mom and pop experience. Do not let the gas station deter you because this food is really good.

This spot is fantastic! One of the 1st spots we tried when visiting Tumwater. Each of the veggie rolls we had did not disappoint. And the staff was super nice and accommodating. Def a rec if you're in the area and enjoy sushi.
