Best spot in Tumwater! The environment is welcoming and peaceful with plenty indoor and outdoor seating! Shawna is the BEST bartender around! Always welcoming with a smile , chat , and delicious drinks. Truly a gem !

Love this place. The space is really nice and the outdoor patio is nice even outside of the summer season. Shawna always takes great care of us and remembers what we like to drink!

We’ve always loved Matchless but since having a baby it’s soo nice to have a spot we can bring the baby and our doggo to enjoy a beverage. Not to mention, their bartender Shawna is great!!!We love matchless!

As a huge hazy IPA fan, this has been my favorite Washington State brewery for a while but I have only been able to enjoy their brews up in Seattle taprooms or in cans. We finally got to try 3 of their hazies and pilsner fresh from the source and all beers were absolutely delicious! Our bartender, Shauna, is a rockstar. She was able to give us several recommendations for beers to go. I really appreciate it when the bartenders in brewery know what their canned beers taste like and can help the customers out. Cheers to awesome and friendly bartenders like her.Btw. the location is a great and quick stop if you are driving Portland - Seattle or vice versa.

hazy ipa. absolutely the most repellent-smelling beer that i have ever experienced. couldn't even drink it. had they the manners and sense to offer small swallows i still couldn't get past the smell; acrid and stale, almost rotten. rather leave the full glass than to bicker with rude bar staff. don't bother.

I have had Matchless beer on Many occasions and made a special trip to this location on the way to Seattle on a Friday night. We left the premises without purchasing anything. The service and attitude from the bartender was absurd, Almost intentionally driving away customers with rude service. There are many choices in the craft brewery world, it's a shame Matchless allows this person to be at the forefront of their image.

Poor interaction with the bartender, it may say kid friendly here but the negative vibe we experienced from the staff tonight was unfortunate

At the corner stone of any business in my opinion is costumer service. This brewery fell very short with their costumer service. The bartender is new on the job ( 2 days) and doesn’t know anything about the beers. She mentioned I could look at the back of the cans to read what’s in the beer and the notes. Well not all pallets are the same. She offered to get one of the guys from the back since I was inquiring about there options of lagers. She came back with just the information that there is only one larger on Tap a rice lager. Ok, asked to get a taste before I walk out the door with a beer I later on will not like. She informales me they don’t do tasters and she could pour me an 8oz now many of you that are reading this probably been to a brewery or two so tell me what place doesn’t offer you a sip to taste there product before u order a pint or beer to go? The beer is expensive on top of that. I am astonished that places like this are striving with poor costumer service. If you going to hire someone make sure they know more than just how to pour a beer, if you want more business have tasters or even a sip to entice your costumers to purchase more of your beer or make a choice on a beer to take home.

Service is lousy set at the bar for ten minutes staff walks all around you but never ask what you want. Moved on

I love their beer, but their bartender was very snooty and short with us. If you want to have good beer and talk no nice people, go around the building to Triceratops Brewing, And the fact that they won't let you taste the beer before you buy it is a deal breaker. I would have purchased some beer to go, but I really didn't want to interact with the snooty server again. They say, "Never meet your heroes."

Great beer (although pricey). Great space. No flights. No tastes.Unknowledgeable and brusk service. Most breweries are excited to talk about and share their beers, but this place seemed almost stingy.Disappointing.
