This chain is a local treasure, been coming here for years. I would not recommend the Philly cheesesteak, honestly I've had better. But their subs are delicious! Their bread is always fresh baked, perfectly spongy and soft with a good flavor and their meats and cheeses are really good too! My go-to favorite is the roast beef with cheddar and provolone. By the way, their chili and cookies are also fresh and delicious. And their prices are better than other sandwich chains.
Meconi’s has been my go-to spot for over 20 years—and even after moving to Colorado, it’s still the first place I stop when I visit Washington. The food is consistently amazing, every single time. Food is great but the attention to the order detail is terrible at this specific location. I consistently have something wrong with my order. It gets taken down fine but the end result usually has something wrong. Besides that the food is always great like all Meconi’s! But check your sandwich before you leave.
