Our server today, Priscilla, was incredibly kind, spoke to our party both in English and Spanish, as well as a hard worker, cleaning up and greeting the other tables in her section. Great food in great quality despite being a buffet.

Old Country Buffet in Union Gap, WA offers a variety of food and most of the staff is really great. Monday through Friday from 1 pm to 4 pm, seniors can take advantage of the senior special and can eat for right at $10.00 and that includes a beverage. Many people think that a person who is on a diet shouldn't go to a buffet. We are both on restricted diets and we find we have better choices helping us to stick to our diets. But - we have to control what and how much we eat. A couple of the servers are lovely young women who are friendly and have taken an interest in our lives and we have become close to them. They encourage us to stick to our diets and that helps. We enjoy eating there and feel we are among friends

Great customer service by the host... But it stopped there. My 7 year old daughter found a sheet metal screw melted into the cheese on her slice of pizza. The host took it to the manager (Mona) who stayed in the kitchen and said nothing to us about it. After talking it over with my family , we decided to not eat there. The host notified the manager (Mona). Who came out of the kitchen and said it's not there fault, it was there vendor to blame. While giving us our refund , she told my daughter who was clearly disappointed that she couldn't eat there this time because her parents were upset. I would avoid this location until they change managers.

It was okay. The baked chicken breast was dry. The meatballs and meatloaf were lukewarm. The orange chicken was good and the carrot cake was good. Usually the cake is dry from sitting out uncovered. The employees were nice.

For the price there are much better dinning options. However they are not all you can eat. If you want to know what your food is going to be like when the time finally comes when your kids put you in to assisted living. Eat here. There are many options. However if you just want salad this is the best place. But you still pay full price.

I hate leaving reviews but well it's earned. The food really never changes even after a year. The food is dry and over cooked their they don't honor the food times they need to put new items out. Cleanliness isn't great. Hot chocolate machine is usually out and the pop dispenser needs to be cleaned. I felt like spending money eating here was a waste of time and I've gotten food poisoning here so we won't be back for a long time.

Sad the whole time I was there they didn't have any meat loaf. Steak was ok. Pot roast was really good

Long overdue...I received coupons today in the mail, which prompted me to come here today. Our family has visited OCB many, many times over the years, just a few years had passed, since we didn’t live near one until we moved to Yakima. The first time we visited we noted the food quality was not anywhere near what it used to be and the surroundings seemed a bit off/dingy, like it needed attention or was in great need of updating; I wasn’t sure, as we were ourselves, rushed that day (we sat at a center table). The next visit was almost 6 months later and we sat at a booth. The food was even worse this round, the staff was indeed lacking in some notable ways and now sitting at a booth, we could see how incredibly filthy this establishment was. That dingy we felt before, gave way to a clearer picture and was in fact overwhelming...the walls in our booth we’re riddled with food debris and dirt; months, maybe years of not having seen a real cleaning. You could smell that the water/bleach rags being used were in need of changing, the edges of the tables were tacky and the floors were also riddled with food. We cautiously ate a portion of what we had initially served ourselves, until we started noting and discussing what we were seeing...needless to say, we gathered our things and left. I’m sorry, but where is the health department in this area? Does this mean we should be careful of all restaurants in general here? We will never return unless there is mention of a complete overhaul, including management...
