Shari's Cafe and Pies

The service was good and the food was acceptable; however, for the price we paid for the prime rib, I would expect it to be cooked as ordered rather than considerably overcooked.

I took my wife here for their valentine's day special, and I regret it. They only had 1 waitress working, and from the speed of the food probably only 1 cook. The salad was ok. The appetizer we got was the three dip platter. The chips were stale, the salsa was pace. The queso was the only good thing on the plate, and the guacamole looked ok, but when I ate it the tomatoes were slimy and had clearly stated rotting. I almost threw up. Then came The main course. I had the t-bone with rice pilaf and a loaded baked potato. The steak somehow managed to be every doneness level from rare to well done, depending on the bite you got. The rice pilaf while bland was the best thing on the plate, and the potato was so salty that I went through 4 glasses of water, and my tongue was still burning from the salt. The "special" menu showed cake with strawberries, but they were out of strawberries, and it was an additional charge which was not mentioned anywhere on the menu. If you really want to have Shari's, it's worth driving across town to the other one.

The restaurant was cold. Only had one bathroom opened. Only got two cups of coffee during whole course of dinner. We had to keep reminding them what we ordered. Got a junior hamburger instead of regular size one. Service was slow and we were the only ones in restaurant for 20 minute's.

The best place in town to eat. The stuffed hash browns are the best thing you'll ever eat! There so good! Our server krissenda was really nice! She made sure my water was filled without even asking, also she kept on checking up on me and my wife to make sure service and food was good.

I took my daughter and family to dinner. Our meal was going to take longer because I selected mashed potatoes, so I changed my selection to fries. When the order arrived, my chicken fried steak was warm almost cold. My families fries must have had the entire salt shaker used, my daughters fish had a piece (1 of 3) that was almost burnt.They made NO ATTEMPT to adjust the cost even after bringing it to the servers attention. We ate what was edible leaving over half the meal on the table when we left.The server was great, but the cook needs to be audited by the company.Wasn't even interested in having pie after paying almost $85 for below par food.

We waited for 20 min for the food that was ready and we ordered it online. Then afterwards before we left my wife wanted a slice of pie they gave us the pie and I handed in the money also waiting 10 minutes for my change so I just left told him to keep the money service sucked.

Just love this place. Great food, great prices. A few of our favorites were the pumpkin pancakes and the tomato avocado benedict. The hollandaise and pumpkin chiffon yum. The service was amazing and the restaurant was so clean. Even the manager came to pour us coffee and check in on us at one point and she was nice and friendly as well. I will be back.

Kid-friendliness: The server and the manger made sure the new born baby in the table next to ours was secure and the parents had options to even where they would like to sit. Great customer service.

I had a salad that I added steak too and it was delicious! Greens were crunchy and steak was perfectly cooked.

I ate here for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was AMAZING! Great price, wonderful service, and very tasty food!!! Dinner was sort of on the mediocre side, could’ve just been because what I ordered (the T-bone steak), wasn’t a good cut of meat. I’m sure if I would’ve ordered something easier or better recommended it would’ve been better. The service at night was okay, also could’ve been because it was a slow Sunday night. The pies are amazing! I ordered the Chocolate Cream Supreme and it did not disappoint! Great diner quick stop!

On Father's Day, people are leaving because they aren't getting to place their orders, we had to ask for our order, it was wrong and the food isn't exactly hot, being it had been siting there waiting? Like us! Not cool!

Loved the cinnamon roll french toast. Hash browns had a nice light crisp and tasted good. Coffee was wonderful. Friendly staff.

Food was good but the prices weren't nice the the total came out different. Kind of upsetting. Could have informed your customers about upcharge before making them pay and not see it on a menu.
