Xochimilco has always been Yakima's best hometown Mexican restaurant, one of the best places all around. This place has always had wonderful good looking food that tastes absolutely amazing. I wish I could say the same for each and every restaurant but Xochimilco takes the throne on this one. Service and hospitality is absolutely wonderful. Great place for a dinner date, very romantic. Great place for a proposal too, and if you get lucky, they might put the margarita on the house (hint hint).

Very disappointed, the chips looked burned and tasted burned. Got enchiladas suizas and I couldn’t taste the tomatillo sauce on it. The margarita I got was pretty good though.

Service is excellent. Very nice staff here . Burrito has large portion of food.
The fajita salad has dry chicken, though.

An upscale Mexican restaurant with massive portions and also high prices. Waitresses are also very nice, and you even get free tortilla chips with salsa with infinite free refills on both. We had the California Burrito and Fajita Salad served in a taco shell bowl. The chicken is a bit dry, but still good. I expected the burrito to just be the burrito, but it came with Mexican rice, and this special bean paste, along with avocado, melted cheese, salsa and other greens. Sodas are $4.50 per glass with infinite free refills, so make sure you finish at least one glass to get your money's worth. This place is very similar to a Mexican restaurant I used to visit in Northgate when I lived in Seattle.

Some of the food needs more flavors like the mole it needs attention.

June 7, 2024Wife & i stopped in for dinner, first time. Was pretty good. The salsa they give you with the chips could use spicing up. Not much flavor. We both had Margaritas.I ordered ENCHILADAS DE MOLE; THREE ENCHILADAS STUFFED WITH SHREDDED CHICKEN, COVERED IN MOLE DE OAXACA, GARNISHED WITH MEXICAN CREAM, CHEESE.My wife had POZOLE OAXAQUENO;BOWL OF SOFT HOMINY TOPPED WITH SHREDDED CHICKEN, CABAGGE AND OUR AUTHENTIC MOLE DE OAXACA.In their menu it says, “We proudly say that our Mole is the best in Washington.” I’ve had many Mole dishes & as good as it is in would say “ITS THE BEST”.

We go out on Fridays for happy hour and usually spend about $20. for a drink and appetizer. They have no happy hour prices and was really very expensive for what we got. I had a taco salad which had lots of lettuce and about 50 cents worth of ground beef in the bottom! We won't be back unless I hear of happy hour prices starting up, and I won't order taco salad again.

We had a car break down in yakima and wound up staying in town. We stumbled upon this restaurant (okay, I did search for margaritas). Not only were the drinks great the food was amazing! I had the enchiladas de molé. Best molé sauce I've ever had.

Haven't tasted anything close to authentic in a bigger restaurant like this one. El Mirador has gotten watered down and the food just isn't the same. Xochimilco (specifically the one in Union Gap) has an awesome Pollo Asado plate that is superb ?? not to mention their margaritas are on point and the interior of the place is awesome including the bar. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

There are a lot of Mexican restaurants in town with better food, prices, and service. I'm glad we came, but this was a one and done.
