We made a reservation and the table that we wanted was reserved for us. It was a beautiful evening and the service was great. The only issue we had is that one pizza came out quite a bit before the other. We enjoyed a bottle of wine and it was not that big of a deal cuz it was just my husband and me.

Pizza was great...awesome flavor and crust was perfect. And I would definitely recommend the gelato. I had the lemon curd which was very smooth and creamy with just the right amount of tartness. Will be a return customer for sure.

The food and wine were delicious - but the service was not what we expected. We had made reservations but when we arrived we were told there wasn't a table unless we wanted to wait until someone left - which is what we did - for about 30 minutes. We finally were seated by the water (a lovely location) and placed our order. An hour later we still had not received our pizzas. We were comped a bottle wine for our wait, and that was nice and when the pizzas finally did arrive they were absolutely wonderful.

I can't say enough about how great our night was at Canale. The staff so warm and professional and the pizza in credible . We have been there 3 times and it has been a yearly tradition for us. It was my birthday and we were a group of 6 and John sent out champagne to the table he literally moved us to the front of the airplane. I've been in the restaurant business myself for over 50 years and what Canale has is something very special. I hope we can keep our tradition there for many years to come. Thank you for a special birthday celebration

Hood Canale has truly outstanding pizza made in Neapolitan style in a wood-fired oven. The service is excellent. We will be going back often.

You can see the brick pizza oven being stocked while you wait for your order. The quality and variety of toppings was amazing - seasonal options & traditional. The ambience was casual & inviting, nothing pretentious & the staff were attentive, friendly & never rushed you . We happened to eat there on open mic night & weren't sure what to expect, but the volume was perfect, the sound check was perfect for the small venue. We went back for a second night because we had trouble choosing which menu items to try on the first visit! Would have no hesitation in recommending this little gem!
