Linda hosted us today at Amavi, what a gem! We walked in right at opening having an hour to kill before a reservation. She had us in and out without any stress. The Syrahs here are phenomenal and unique, not your typical Syrah notes for sure! A nice view, plenty of seating options and felt genuinely taken care of.

I went for a tasting over Easter weekend for a friend’s birthday. The experience was good until it was time to close out. The staff member was struggling with their machine stating it was new. She ran my card multiple times and as a result I ended up with two charges near $400 each on my card. I contacted the winery they informed me that they were aware but not sure how to issue a refund. They told me that they were working on it and would be in touch. A week went by with no word, I reached out and received no response. I contacted my credit card company to file a claim and it was after that, that I got a text from Amavi again telling me that they were still working on figuring out how to refund my money. It took 6 weeks before my $381 was returned. Im pretty sure that I wouldn’t have been able to take my 6 bottles of wine without payment, noting that once I figured out how to pay that I would. Yet, I guess that they think it’s appropriate to hold on to nearly $400 of my money. I got an apology for my frustrations and a thank you for my patience, but I had to keep reaching out and push for my refund. I’m truly disappointed with this entire experience.

We had a delightful experience, tasting the Amari offerings while sitting on the east deck viewing the valley and the Blue Mountains in the distance. Our host was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor. The wines were great and we left with several. We hope to return again.

Booked a tasting for two at Amavi. Service was very casual with no enthusiasm about the wine. The check took so long to process because they couldn’t figure out their own tablet which was handled by one single individual. All in all I would not be heading back soon.

We came in unannounced and we were extremely happy with the wine quality and service from this family owned winery The Grandfather Norm 89 years old came to the table and his grandchildren served us the wine The Syrah les collines was superb In our group of winemakers from Margaret River would definitely recommend a visit here

We didn’t have a tasting. I’m very unhappy this program won’t allow me to leave “no stars” Your server was rude and not helpful. We asked about another time and she told us there wasn’t any openings for the rest of the week. We left and looked up appointments and found there was an appointment just a half hour from when we were there. Very disappointed and will not return.
